I drink maybe every second or third weekend.
I tend to opt for prosecco, whisky, vodka, and rum, in that order. I'll pretty much only drink beer if it's served with food.
And obvious as it may sound, you don't need to drink until you pass out, unless that's the kind of thing that makes you happy.

I have a dozen or so pints when I go out with my m8s but asides from that I don't drink often.
i drink around 2 bottles of wine a day, which is about 16 standard drinks
its probably not the best for my health but i havnt noticed much difference, aside from occasional tachycardia and extremely high blood pressure
