help, how do i run? trying to get /fit/ and i ran a mile today in 12 minutes, and now i have the worst chafing ever feels like my crotch and thighs got hit with a belt sander what am i doing wrong?

i was wearing regular boxers and workout shorts. does /fit recommend different attire? or is my form bad? or does this stop happening once you keep running for a while, kind of like building a callous?
Rub some vitamin e cream or baby oil between your thighs before you run

get athletic underpants. you will never chafe again. For me some boxers i can run in some i cant. best just to get the good stuff.
