Well, I have a receding hairline like that number 2, actually my shedding gradually stopped by itself 1-2 years ago (I'm 24, it started at like 20 or so), still I wanted to be sure so I went to a dermatologist few months ago and now I'm on minoxidil (I mentioned finasteride with him but he was really against it). Pretty good so far, situation is actually better than before, hair seems to be a little bit thicker and I have a really small regrowth on my temples, but it's really minimal and I don't fool myself into thinking I'll get them covered again.
Still, thanks to the fact that my hairline isn't really fucked up and I have thick hair, you can't really notice any flaws.

I'm using a spray that's basically thickening paint, but it looks natty. Im a bit before norwood 2, starting balding at 17, got on 1mg of fin at 18 (since no doctor would prescribe it before 18) i also did minoxdil twice a day and ketoconazole once a week. Decided jsut to shave it all and say fuck it when i turned 21. I was spending way too much money and way to much time and worrying about my hair.
I now have a supportive GF who doesn't care, and desu once youre actually out of highshcool not alot of girls seems to care, i get as much attention now as i did when i had hair, and a lot of chicks seem to be into it even.

I'm taking finasteride now, using minox, and nizoral shampoo. It's doing relatively well. Scalp massaging works as well. I take a complete multi-vitamin. It's all cheap and takes less than 5 minutes a day in total.
You can't have good looks being bald. It is a death sentence for confidence and getting good girls. If fin/minox doesn't grow back your hair or stop your hairloss, it will slow it down enough for you to get old enough and have a decent paying job to get some hair transplants that are permanent.
With a little saving and decent income, it's a worthy investment for happiness and still getting young pretty girls as you go through your 30s and 40s. It's not as expensive or impossible as you think. (It might be to an 18 year old living with his parents, but I'm talking to you mid 20s here).

I've got type 2, but it's still only been thinning out for the last 2 years.
Luckily, I've shaved my head in the past (good scalp aesthetics ftw), and I can grow a beard.
My wife doesn't want me to shave it, but I've told her simply that if I ever get to a look like 3A or 3V, I'm shaving it again. I've got too much pride.

The shoes I have in the first picture are just an old pair of wrestling shoes from college. They have awesome ankle support, are thin as shit, and completely flat. I've lifted in converse before but I prefer those now.

3v reporting in. It sucks a little bit. But my face is decent and the rest of my gentetics are on my side so I'm quite relaxed about it. It would be better with full hair though. I freaked out when my hair first started falling out.
I've been receding since my early twenties and thinning noticeably for the last three. I ultimately decided to shave it because it was becoming too noticeable.
I'm somewhat comfortable with it but it does bother me at times. I'm afraid to try shit like Propecia out of fear of side effects. I will remained shaved unless an affordable cure becomes available.
I still have no problem picking up women so it's not all bad.
