I'm maintaining on about 2900 calories a day.
My current macros are:
80 grams Fat
400 grams Carbs
150 grams Protein
I've read that 1.7 grams of protein per kilogram body weight is enough protein for athletes.
I weigh 180 lbs or 81.65 kg which means I should consume 139 grams of protein.
Am I consuming too many carbs? I don't see many guys eating as many carbs as I do. Most guys either go higher fat or higher protein.
Most people here fall for the "1 g of protein per lb of bodyweight" meme. You're fine. Feel free to reduce carbs in favor of fat or protein if you want to.
400 grams of carbs is equal to a cup and a half of sugar. Not exactly what you want in your blood

It is if you eat it all in sugars. It is also equal to 3 cups of brown rice you dummy.

Carbs all get converted to sugars. The rice is mildly better because it needs to undergo digestion but the end result is the same, a shitton of glucose floating around in your blood.

wtf

I'm 95kg and my maintenance is 3000-3100 calories, I'm pretty sure eating 2900 calories at 81kg would be bulking.

Anon never studied basic human biology, forgive him

No, it's maintenance for me.
You're forgetting how much TDE can vary based on activity level.

ah right, forgot about that.
>tfw 187cm and 76 kg
