I saw it on some steel cut oats boxes at the store today. Im not sure on the fat but I remember it being even more than the paltry 4grams of protein.

I eat 4 cups of oats with like 200g of fruit for breakfast to carb up before the gym. Its also great now that its winter, dem warm oats up inside my stomach walls on a cold winter morning

This anon has it right. Literally the only difference between eating 1 meal a day vs 10 is how it subjectively makes you "feel", which will differ from person to person.

Your body doesn't just pass up valuable nutrients, from eating food to storing fat or muscle is a process that takes multiple days.

If timing meant shit, then you could defeat calories in vs calories out by just eating all your sweets in one sitting. Pretty illogical right?

what it is, is you can only SYNTHESIZE so much protein at once.. but that doesn't mean you should eat less... you want to eat enough protein to maximize protein synthesis, and then some, because it goes to reduce protein breakdown.

Oats are a decent carb source, they have a good amount of fiber and are cheap as dog shit in bulk, but there's nothing too special about them. I like to eat them, if you don't then there are plenty other cheap, high fiber carb sources out there.
Squats are the single best leg exercise you can do, they will pack on slabs of meat to your core and lower body, and unless you have a legitimate reason not to be doing them (read: injury), you should be doing them.

It's not a scam, you get exactly as much protein as you pay for. It's wrong that people think you need to take slower digesting proteins at different times of the day, but it's not any better or worse than whey.
