Stop worrying about abs, you can only see them at an unhealthy bodyfat percentage.
Work on your delts (lateral raises) and biceps (curls) instead.

You really don't seem to be doing it right. Read through the sticky again and make sure you are actually pushing yourself to the limit. Also eat enough protein (~60g/day should be enough for you)

Psst, bro. No one here will tell you, but there is a secret that we aren't sharing with you. You see, unlike every other hobby ever, lifters don't like other people sharing their hobby. So they put together magazines that have unattainable bodies in them and then say "Get RIPPED In 6 Weeks!" so that people will try it, inevitably fail, and then be discouraged and never lift again. They only suggest things that are really hard, like counting calories, lifting really heavy multiple times a week, basically massive lifestyle changes that they know people won't actually do, in order to drive people away from being fit. You see how everyone wears headphones in the gym? That's so that they don't have to give advice to new people. If everyone stays skinny and shitty looking, lifters look better by comparison, so they want to keep everyone else weak and ugly.

It's a clever ruse, but I'm willing to let you in on the secret if you really want to take that red pill.

Most of the recommendations for protein intake are just over the top and based on the very common gain paranoia among men (mostly by supplement manufacturers, who try to exploit those fears to sell their shit). Look at OPs pic. He doesn't need 1g/lbs proteins. If he makes sure he gets 60g/day, he'll be just fine. No need to waste food and gain unnecessary fat.
