Hello /fit/
So I started lifting recently and I want to thank you guys for all the useful information on the sticky, it really helped me out. But there was this one thing I thought it was missing, a reference of how to execute things with proper form.
I've been looking at this youtube channel when I'm in doubt about how to execute something

I was wondering if you guys had any better places I could go for references.
Scott Herman is a giant faggot, but i guess u can start there, i mean the guy doesnt show improrper form.
even if you don't plan on running starting strength, get the book, since it's mostly just teaching how to perform the most important exercises
bodybuilding dot com and look up the exercises guide!!

Ty anons! I'll look into it. Also I'm happy that I didn't learn anything the wrong way.
Bumping bc same question, I'm nearly 40 and I'm terrified of fucking up my knees. I'd like some Youtube channels that show proper form for dumbell exercises and low weight barbells so I can fit them in at the end of my workouts. Right now I only use machines routinely because I don't want to fuck myself up. I know some basic dumbbell exercises, need more and need to focus on form.
Any channels?

Thx bro
Read 'Starting Strength: Basic Barbell Training' by Mark Rippetoe.
Watch form videos online. Stick to 'powerlifting' channels for the big 3/4, weightlifting channels for the Olympic lifts and bodybuilding channels for accessory movements.
Post videos for critique and link them here (or Reddit).
Bumping for more opinions.
