Hear me out of cause I had one for 4 years in the same place. Luckily I don't dable in sexual activities so nobody noticed. I got rid of it with over the counter creams. Things is I tried like 4 creams till I found one that worked. I used each one for 2 weeks and if nothing changed I moved on to another one, preferably with another active ingredient. I almost gave up but I found one that worked (Nizoral I think it was called not sure the active ingredient Google it) and I used it for 40 fucking days every night and the shroom still comes once in a while but I am almost cured now. Another thing is that shit feeds on your sugar. If you eat lots of sugar it will never go away so keep that in mind. Ask me stuff if you want to know more

Ive had this problem in the past. its bc you are letting your downstairs mixup get wet - like sweating r showering and getting dressed without getting it adequately dry.
wash with body wash in the shower and dry out completely before getting dressed. wear tight fitting underwear like compression shorts that will wick moisture away.

Doctor here. That looks like more scaly psoriasis rather than a fungal infection. You should probably man up and go see a dermatologist specifically. You either need a topical steroid like desonide or fluocinonide, or you need an antifungal like that there ketoconazole. If it is psoriasis, the steroids will calm it down, but then you'll need maintenance therapy. However, I'd rather be safe and have a dermatologist look at it closely cause steroids might make the fungus worse if it is.

I have this too. Thought it was a fungal infection or something and tried everything. Went to the dermatologist and they took a sample. Turns out it was Psoriasis. Inverse Psoriasis specifically. Pretty rare and shows up later in life for no reason. There's nothing better than lifting up my balls after a long day and raking my taint with a fine toothed comb and watching all the dead skin rain down like snow. There's no cure for psoriasis. I'm not sure if OPs is psoriasis. It looks just like mine but fungal infections/eczema/psoriasis all look pretty similar. I mitigate it with a moisturizing cream since it tends to itch more when the skin gets dry and flakes off. When it's dry and flaky it also seems to be more prone to bleeding.
