Are there any substitutes for Chin-ups/Pull-ups? I started recently going to the gym and everything was going fine until I realized there wasn't a fucking pull-up bar.

Go to your local playground. Use the monkey bars. Or the actual pull up bar, depending on your council's definition of playground.
wait your gym doesn't have a power rack even? or what power rack doesn't have the bars at top? you could also use a smith machine, rack it at top and use that.
