after reaching snap city for the second time of my life on a fucking deload/light set I had enough

work on form forever and a moment of not being tight/perfect and a disc goes

literally never.
my thighs are pretty proportional, and i don't want huge t-rex quads, i find them unaesthetic.

i mostly do plyo and hip thrusts instead.

but i can thrust 280, which is pretty intermediate, but i am still doing linear progression

i will bust out some 1.5pl8 atg front squats because they are fun for me to do, but i try to limit my squatting movements to cleans and snatches (i don't take oly lifting srsly, i just enjoy preforming them)

But no, always go to a gym and have someone else check your form and give you tips you may follow or not. Even PTs with an actual degree check out each other constantly.

I used to be able to do 120kg for 5 reps but low bar. But for the the past 4 month i've haven't been able to squat due to back pain from APT, Ive also stopped deadlifiting.
To top it all i've been cutting during this time.
I switched to high bar squats this week but had to go back down to 60kg, my legs and my especially my butt have gotten really small now.
Should I start squatting 3X a week, with just squats as the begining excercise before every session on M W F ?

Squats is where 5x5 really shines imo.

I've been steady going up with them changing to 3x3 every now and then.

My diddlys, ohp etc always get a hard stall after good progress but squats always go up :D

I haven't had a regulated training regime for the past year. There are weeks where I don't squat at all. Fuck, there have been three months this year where I didn't do a single squat.

Current every day max is 375 ass to calves, 405 to parallel.

I did get to 110kg but i shifted my hips to one side when squatting and began to hurt my left hip flexor from it

De-loaded back to 60kg and worked my way back up with better form (still not perfect). Hopefully i can finally get to 3pl8 squat now like ive always dreamed.

If you feel back it means you're pushing up with your back/arching your back. Thrust only at your pelvis, try to keep neutral back.

Either that, or your lower back is weak as shit and can't stabilize.

Just keep going you'll figure it out.

Hip thrusts are beast once you can do them with some weight on the bar.

But I can say I've been doing BB hip thrusts for ~2 months and the difference is astounding. I really feel glutes when I squat and the size of my ass has increased quite a bit.

I use the thick pink Squat Sponge so the metal bar doesn't dig into my hips. I do about 135lbs hip thrusts but I'm shooting for 315
