Nobody mentioned 'functional strength' you retard. In fact, 'functional strength' can mean anything, so it means nothing.

Literally everything they are doing could for the benefit of stability can be done on rings.

The movements displayed in said Webm are in no-way considered a day-to-day exercise.
Carrying jugs and buying chicken in bulk has come to be known as acceptable. Using steering wheels as exercise tools is not acceptable.
I ponder how a sledgehammer has found its way into a proper exercise routine. The function of doing a pushup while balancing on the heavy side of a hammer is only transferable to doing more pushups while balancing on the heavy side of a hammer.
I propose the question: What demonstrable variation of movement can one acquire through the presented methods of training?
I seek the relation these movements hold related to purpose. Can one amongst you enlighten me?

How/where does one get into rings training?
I've never seen rings in the gymnasium of any of the big gyms in my area.
I feel like if I just bought some and installed them on my garage without training I would become paraplegic instantaneously.
Is there an organization that promotes/practices ring training to the public?
>>34980252
I built some rings and have been using them here and there for a couple years. Why do you think you'll snap your shit? They're quite safe, just progress gently.
What you seek is a gymnastics club.

Thx m8, googling.
How tough is progress?
Any online resources for training/techniques?
How are your results?
>>34980252
Just buy some and ask the manager if you can hand them somewhere? Or go to a gymnastics gym. As for training on them i would got to /asp/ and get foundation.

Will sledgehammer pushups get me a body like this?
>>34980298
Go to the bodyweight training thread in /asp/ they have some good downloads.
I find I can progress quickly in something if I dedicate time to it, but I mostly just fuck around here and there between oly lifting and martial arts. It's fun when you can start banging out muscle ups and hold levers for extended periods.
It takes time though, just have patience and do it for fun. Just holding yourself in the basic ring support is going to be a challenge early on.

Every WWE pro wrestler is juiced to the brink of death. They cruise on what most serious pro bodybuilders peak cycle to.
That's why they all die before age 50.

Thanks mang, gonna try it

Look at this power steering pansy
>>34979494
i dont give a shit and wont even read what people say itt but those pushups 5 seconds in are good
feet should be elevated about 20-30 cm higher and it would be great
elevated feet for better angle to train the appropriate muscles, additional weight for more intensity, destabilized surface to greatly increase the training of the stabilizers but also main muscles

Oh christ. THIS shit again..
1rst one looks dumb as fuck. Last two are pretty decent.
>>34979494
