OK so a few times I've squatted I've farted/had some liquid poo come out. Would a buttplug help this from happening? Are they legal for powerlifting?
Just started lifting like 9 months agp because my gf wanted to. We lift together and he has no problems with the poo coming out. Anyone else have tips/experience?

maybe you need a diaper

No. Your ass is weak and the only way to prevent this is to shit right before working out.
I just use a plug since it feels good.

>he's only just finding out about squat plugs, it's like babbys first word, watching new lifters grow

New lifters I definitely suggest a butt plug until your body becomes used to the stress of squatting.

so what? I even said I just started lifting. Are you going to help me or no?
I use a plug. No one talks about it, but you can tell who squats and who doesn't by who goes to the "bathroom" before and after leg day.
long time plugger here.
i've been working my way up to some larger plugs lately. the effect of squeezing glutes and abs is enhanced threefold by plugging. i have added probably, no joke, about 15 kgs to my squat in the past 2 weeks from plugging alone.
thx guys

This, its kind of a taboo but in fact a lot of the great powerlifters recommend it. As you use the buttplug longer your sfincter ani muscle gets stronger during squats and other compound lifts, one might even snatch of c&j if you're into that. Generally they recommend around 6 months of training using a buttplug and then your sfincter should have made enough gains to keep your shit contained from then on.
