Does anyone else have uneven hip drive when doing squats? When I squat, one hip always comes up significantly faster than the other, even when I am only squatting the bar. I've tried so many things to fix it, and nothing works.
Help?

There's a few things that could be responsible. My first instinct is to suggest stretching and foam rolling your hips and upper quads. Then spend some time with light weight just getting the movement correct.

Like just working the bar over and over? I guess so, since the hip problems are evident even with the bar

>hip drahve
>not quad drive
Not gonna make it

If your hips aint involved neither are your glutes.

Alan Thrall talked about this in his latest video (untamed talk EP.01 part 3 I think. Could also be part 2)
Could be caused by thight ankle or injured knee.

Likely this. I squatted with a swollen ankle for a few months only to realize I'd developed a left-to-right imbalance.
