Is there hope for me fit? Is it possible to start this low?
>>

Yes ffs
>>
>>34950021
Everyone had to start somewhere, just make sure you are disciplined and keep pushing yourself. Record your lifts so you have a goal to aim for.

We're all gonna make it, brah
>>
>>34950021
I started at 95 and made it up to 200 within a couple months. You can do it OP.
>>
>>34950021
Don't fall for e-stats, my friend. I swear to god nobody on this board benched lmao1plate the 1st time they entered a gym. I think I started benching at 75lbs, if I remember correctly.

Eat a fuck ton and lift as heavy as you can, you can make it.

I started with the bar and struggled with 10's on each side a couple days later (65lbs), now I'm at 390lbs. There is always hope, just believe in yourself. Bench is something that must be learned properly, once you learn how to bench properly your bench will increase substantially.

>>
>>34950353
I had good coaching once I went into college by coming out of my shell asking guys with big benches to help me get a 315lbs bench. 315lbs was just 1RM not reps, I repped the 185lbs for sets of 10 before I got into 1RM training which was extremely foreign to me. You gotta remember I was a calenstinics fag in my teens watching all that DBZ. I only really got into weight lifting closer to 20 when some older coaches realized my potential.

The bench is one of those catch 22 exercises.

Always makes me laugh when I see some big buff dude benching 225 but his rom is literally 1/8th of the skinny ass dude benching 85 right next to him on the other bench because the buff dude has a huge chest and the skinny dude is flat as a board and thus super low on the bench
>>
I started same place if not a little bit weaker, yesterday I benched 175 for a 5x5 @ 170 bw.

Just gotta be consistent with eating/lifting/sleeping and you'll be repping body weight before you know it.

how much did you weigh for those lifts and how much do you weigh now

Learn proper valsalva maneuver, stay tight, don't be afraid to go deep, know when to exhale, be aware of your heels, learn to sit into the movement. Also squeeze the bar just as tight as if you were benching (creates better shelf, etc), I learned this wayy too late having fish hands on the bar for years.

its called linear progression, and 315 is well within the natty limit.

not that i can give an objective opinion anyways, because i am just thirty for lotus' dick (no homo)

Its possible, but going from 185 to 315 without a single stall is rare as hell. Especially in someone who isn't particularly heavy and isn't gaining a ton of weight.

Add in Lotus' general retardation when it comes to training knowledge and it shouldn't be surprising that a lot of people think he's on cycle.
>>
>>34952137
>without a single stall is rare as hell.
you could stall a couple times and still make it within the span of a year.

yes, LPing your bench to 315 from 185 inside of a year is just that easy

Is it possible that some people just has shitty genes in that sense, with nerv system or something?

I'm femanon, I look more muscular than most other women at my gym, but my bench press sucks. I find it hard to get it up. It weir how some old grannies has same weights in bench press than I do.

Also, I can bench press up to 180kg but can't squat shit. How is that even possible?

If so, stop that, because it fucks up your shoulders. Other than that, you might've just pulled something and have a rampant inflammatory situation now. Do light weights as you allow them to heal.
