>Bench 135
>Squat 145

November 2015 - 180 lbs
>Bench 185
>Squat 255

Pretty happy with my progress so far. End of year goals are 200 bench and 275 squat.
>>
>>34948882
Did you play football or something? I can't even imagine a freshman in HS having those stats.
>>
>>34949004
My senior year we had a freshmen benching 275, and two sophomores benching 300, and yeah we were in football
>>
All for three sets of five

21, 110lbs to 115lbs @ 5'7"
Squat = 95
Bench = 65
Deadlift = 95
The Press = 30 (dumbbells)

started lifting last january. didn't progress very well and it was demotivating so I didn't go consistently after the first few months.

22, 133lbs @ 5'7"
Squat = 135
Bench = 120
Deadlift = 165
The Press = 70
Power Cleans = 75

this was last december. stopped listening to /fit/ and started to take lifting seriously. after 10 months I got here

23 (a few weeks ago), 189lbs @ 5'7"
Squat = 370
Bench = 267.5
Deadlift = 430
The Press = 182.5
Power Cleans = 225 kicked out of gym for doing them with iron plates and failing :(

haven't lifted much since

Are you guys even trying? Like... OP has been training 3 times longer than me and is weak as fuck considering how long he has been at it
>>
>>34949166
he claims to weigh 168 pounds and bench 280 pounds while only squatting 355

>Are you guys even trying? Like... OP has been training 3 times longer than me and is weak as fuck considering how long he has been at it

well these guys are/were high school football players (assuming based on the bench/squat/clean mix)

>>34948824
>>34948882

i wouldn't expect high school coaches to be the best at getting kids far beyond lmao3plate on any lift

>>34949214
he could be 6 feet with the arms of a manlet

or it could be retarded form, since it's still a high school football player and big numbers are cool
>>

Working in construction gave me a headstart at the gym.

Day 0 i could bench 135, squat 225, and DL 275 at 165 pounds.

Now i weigh 215 4yrs later and 365 bench 495 squat 515 DL.

I had a lot of work injuries though always holding me back.

Well, just being honest brehs. Never went to the gym before. Been doing SS for a month. Don't have a spotter... just what im comfortable with while I learn proper form

bench.. lmao 1pl8
diddy lift 225
Squat 145
Press 105

will i ever make it brehs? I'm seeing gains, but sometimes struggle on improving each session. Trying to eat as much as I can (military) etc.
>>
>>34948824
There is no way that and of your lifts are as high as you're saying they are, I'm 6', and 168lbs is skinny as fuck at this weight, you're not likely to be benching more than a pl8 or so with an actual ROM.

And that's ignoring the obvious bullshit lifts you apparently had at 15.
Why do people feel the need to e-stat, /fit/?
>>
>>34951316
did you ever play football in high school
>>
>>34951316
If anything he's probably e-stating his height. So many manlets say they are 6 feet when they're really like 5'9". Fucking kek
>>
>>34951339
You do realise an athletic background doesn't change the fact that a weight at a certain height is still skinny as fuck, right? And that skinny people, by definition, won't have much muscle, and therefore will be weak? Doing physical activity can make you strong for your weight, but only to a certain point, same as you won't get very strong while lifting without bulking.

And nah, I hunted a fair bit with family friends though.

>>34951349
I see that all the time actually. Dude I know claims 6'1" and is at least 2 or 3 inches shorter than me at 6'. I don't get why people feel the need to lie about shit, just don't bring it up and literally no-one fucking cares.
>>
>>34951367
i know about the mechanics of lifting. you didn't answer my question

did you ever play football in high school
>>
>>34951367
It's hilarious because a couple people have said to me "you really look like you're 6'1" or 6'2""(actually 5'11") probably because the people around 5'8" tell people they are 5'11" and 6'
>>
>>34950735
Well you're doing better than me with upper body stuff. I've been doing SL since the start of October consistently, so a month and a half. I am on a cut though.

>Bench: 125
>Deadlift: 225
>Squat: 165
>Press: 80
>>
>>34949241
>he could be 6 feet with the arms of a manlet

No, he's clearly making shit up. Appears more likely to be inflating his weight by a lot and his height by a little.

165lbs. @ 5'3" with low body fat could account for such a bench

But it's more like he's 5'10", 165lbs. @ 215 max bench, but that is giving him the benefit of the doubt
>>

32 yrs. (current), 6'0", 220 lbs.:

how many reps are those?
>>
>>34951390
I did, can you not read?

>nah, I hunted a fair bit with family friends though.

What does it have to do with anything though?

>>34951398
It is hilarious, I get told I'd have to be taller than 6' by people all the time, someone thought I was 6'4" at one point because that mate of mine said he was 6'1" to them, and I wasn't exactly gonna go "Nuh-uh you fucking manlet". It's insane the lengths people go to to try to make people think they're a bit taller. I mean, I'd rather have 21" shoulders, but I don't go around telling people that I do, because I fucking don't.

Same sort of mentality as e-statters with lifts I guess though.

Don't know why it's so hard for you fags to believe. My freshmen year we were introduced to weight lifting, started it and did our first max outs before Xmas breaks, then we would lift during winter/spring. We'd get the summer off, then back to foot ball with a little bit of lifting thrown in, then back to max outs after the season is over.
