Which one is harder: Bulking or cutting?

If you are 20% bodyfat or above, will you look bigger cutting instead of bulking?

ill make this one easy:
low body fat, big visible muscles= you look big and muscular
muscles covered in thick layer of fat= you look fat as fuck.

Whatever your body is used to is going to be what's "easiest".

If you're a skelly who's never eaten more then 1500 cal a day, forcing yourself to hit 4000 is going to be torture.

The same thing if your a fatty trying to cut.

Bulking correctly is harder than just cutting. Stuffing yourself with food is easier than losing weight.

You will look bigger cutting, since you'll add definition.

If you continue to bulk while over 20% bf, you'll just look fat.

Which is harder? They're both the same. You need to have to same intensity in your workouts no matter what.

Of course you won't make progress while cutting, but your strain/ exertion should be the same.

it is actually "fair", clearly he did a dirty bulk and everything but his skin was probably in a better condition than yours when he started his bulk and he probably didn't try to loose everything asap.

he's a PT who did this as a marketing gimmick basically. he stopped working out and ate like shit on purpose to have the experience of getting back into shape from a fat starting point

i think eating about even on cals is pretty easy, something like 1500-2000 but getting more or less than that, consistently gets really old

Cutting is impossible when it seems that everyone around me is eating just as much as I am and yet that's clearly not the case as here I am at 238 lbs.
Also you gain weight quicker than losing fat

this is why i'm cutting while lifting as a skinny fat. Bulking while skinny fat is the worst idea ever - you build muscle faster but end up fat, meaning you have to cut for even longer and your gains will slow down a lot and you could end up losing muscle too.

Good plan anon.
i cut down from probably 22% down to about 12%. Bulking back up at 15% currently. The several month cut was worth it
