What I feared happened.

I've been going strong at the gym for 4 months. SS program to the letter, even doing powercleans.

My lifts are bitch-made. I'm a 120lbs nerd. And this shit didn't change during the 4 months. I just gained 5lbs, that's it.

Here are my stats:

>200lbs DL
>150lbs squat
>110lbs bench
>85lbs OHP

And I've stalled on every-fucking-thing. I'm 20, 5'11.

Well that's not a great progress in 4 months, but I've seen much worse in this board tho.

Maybe you're not eating all the protein you should, or not enough fats to provide you the right hormonal balance, or enough carbs to give you energy. See scoobys calorie calculator, track and design a diet with his bodybuilding nutrition made easy video, and use an app like MyFitnessPal to help you do so. Don't fall for the GOMAD meme.

Maybe you're not sleeping all you should, try to go to bed earliear and get better sleep. Also make sure to avoid stress.

But eat more, it's probably that.

Considering he's just 120 lbs, he can deadlift a very decent amount of weight. Maybe in a couple of months is deadlifting 2x his bodyweight.

5x3 Power Cleans 50kg

Gonna start a bulk soon tho. Gains are just too damn slow, and I'm really not sure if progressing as well as I could be. Like, should I just cut down to low bf or bulk for dem muscles and cut again?

Pic related is 3 months progress. Haven't taken a pic of 4th month yet, but still roughly the same with a little less fat. But no visible and yet.

Both pics have the same pose really. I suspect the difference is in the muscles getting stronger/tighter thus improving my overall posture. And also my bf% has decreased and it shows around my waist I suppose. Thus making shoulders look wider.

Yea I know what you're saying. Spinal erectors are just real weak according to symmetric strength. Also I deloaded at one point because I realised I was DLing with rounded back snap posture, so that I could focus on form and hopefully make safe gains from there. I will say I'm also the living breathing embodiment of T-Rex mode. My upper body strength is just so shit. Though I do understand that there's a certain ratio to be expected with the lifts. Thanks bro, I've recently added some light HIIT to my workouts.

Maybe stop squattin every day. SS is good, but different bodies need different workouts.

Do you Pull Up, or Row? 5x5 Barbell Rows and assisted pull ups if you can't do one will give you even better posture. Got nice potential m8

I've actually been considering it. But as opposed to stopping squats entirely I'm thinking of switching to high bar or front squats, which will probably force me to lower the weights since I don't train with them.

I do the chin ups instead of pull ups. Don't row tho. I've been having a hard time doing chin ups with the assist machine. Felt like I wasn't making progress so I've started doing negatives instead. Thanks senpai
