they call it "calorie counting" or "TDEE -500", but it just results in muscle loss because your diet is garbage and you have no energy to do stuff

a 500 deficit is actually fine if that was the actual deficit, but when you compute peoples deficit from their weight loss, it's always like 800-1500+

15% on that chart looks leaner than 10%, and NOBODY gets down to 3%, the ultra lean bodybuilders who look like that are using Dry steroids and in some cases diuretics.

Look, your NUMBER isn't relevant to anything, as the same number can look different on different people - we don't all store fat in the same places at the same rate.

Also, overcomplicates shit. If you need more visible definition to look good, you should be dieting. If you already look good, why care what your numerical fat% is?

ive been using body spec for dexa scans as well for a year and a half and ive done them all, but one, with their van in socal
i did one dexa with their newer van that they sent to norcal and it gave me crazy good results which were not accurate so i stick with the socal van but will probably eventually just go to their brick and mortar location in west la

also what did you do to lose fat and gain muscle? routine? diet? cardio?

yeah we use the same company, they're just down the street for me, ~40$ if you bulk buy.

i only go to the brick and mortar location. i avoid the van because calibration can be an issue and i want the most accurate results possible.

i do tons of cardio (cycle, run, weekend soccer) but i started lifting over the last few months, which explains the muscle gain.

when your lifting and your numbers are stalling, how do you know you're actually stalling? maybe you're just filling in some stabilizers that are necessary to get to the next level?

Not him. But the lot of you in this thread do not understand exactly how bf%s are taken. Every method of taking a bf% is an estimate. they are all off to a different degree of the other methods. It makes no sense to compare one to another. To actually get a real bf% you need to be literally carved up. The electric device you used is considered the least accurate. Tbh, bf% doesnt matter one bit.
