I'm on a cut now, deficit for about 8 months but cutting hc for a month, at 1600kcal a day.

Its gruesome. Today I ate 100g of lean chicken and a bell pepper for lunch.

I just want the bellyfat to pls go so I can get back to progressing. Feel super weak and starting to feel like I'm not recovering fast enough, may switch one lifting day to swimming until the end of the cut to make it easier.

I started out at 103kg (6'1) and was like fuck it, went on a 1500kcal diet for 6 months and went down to 90kg and now I'm on an 1800kcal per day +100 on days I work out. I eat around 160g of protein a day and fill in the rest with carbs and fat. I'm down to 87kg and not very far off my goal which is awesome.


My breakfast is usually the same every day but lunch and dinner change a lot.

I dont really go for ultra low carb. I still eat rice and potatoes on low carb days. On these days I get around 100g od carbs.

lunch 2 cups homemade vegetarian chili or homemade fresh vegetable salsa, 5oz chicken breast either baked w/spices or slow cooked and shredded.

supper 8oz shredded beef or a huge salad, fill out the rest of the day with sugar snap peas and 0% mf yogurt.

6 weeks left. feels good bros. cutting has made me a pretty adequate cook with chicken and vegetable dishes.

Regarding the kcal goal, I'm probably aiming for a higher deficit than I should, but then again I don't trust myself to count 100% correctly and would rather be on the safe side.

Been doing this for 3-4 weeks now and have only lost 4lbs-ish.. but I did start doing creatine after I started the cut, and I do eat a lot of salt.

It's fine and good for your heart. If you're that worried about gains just do 20 mins of HIIT training instead (get on a bike, peddle for 1 min at a decent speed, then 45 secs at a ridiculous speed, repeat 8-10 times, if you don't feel like dying at the end you're doing it wrong).

That's not what skipping breakfast does boy.
IF doesn't automatically make you lose weight or make bulk that less effective.
It makes you have less meals, which allow them to have more scrutiny than usual, usually resulting in more healthful/filling choices that have less calories.
Big thing is it reduces snacking and really helps heal your relationship with food, because you don't eat simply for pleasure but for sustenance.

There's a reason fat people can lose so much weight, it's because they can cut so much more.
If 1200 is working for you, and you aren't sapped of energy, I would say go for it.
Get your macros and nutrients and that should be enough.
1500 is still really good too, so if you find trouble getting the proper macros in 1200cals 1500 wouldn't be much slower.
Stay hydrated too and moisturize your skin, best luck to you.

Still though. I'm 240 and eating at a deficit is about 2900 for me. I would be miserable if I had to stick to 1200. I'm losing weight at a reasonable pace, feeling good, and gaining muscle. This is all without cardio and only lifting 3 days a week.

I swam laps for an hour, lifted for 45 minutes and than ran 1.5 miles

I lift 3 times a week, do cardio 6 times a week with 3 of those being more intense and rest on sundays.

Ive so far lost 50 pounds since mid august and I have been on a E/C stack for about 4 weeks.

I usually just have either a cup of green tea or oolong tea after my work out.

I was thinking of starting IF and just take my stack during my shift (6am-2:30pm) and eat from 3-9pm but im still not sure if I can eat that many calories in such a short amount of time. Only reason I got fat was due to me drinking over 70 tall cans of beer a week.

My stamina comes from having a physical job. I work in a steel factory repairing the coke ovens so I am always subjected to high heat which increases my heart rate quite a bit and on top of that I do a lot of jack hammering, bricklaying and other labourus tasks through my shift.

Not included in this pic is that I did 2 Clenbuterol cycles (80mcg/day), I biked over 1800miles this season (thats not a lot), and I have a very active job where I have to walk 10-12miles per day on non lifting days and about 5-7miles per day on lifting days. I also swim laps for 30-45mins after my lifting M/W/F lifting sessions.

The reason I started steron was first and foremost for recovery, optimization of my nutrient partitioning, and optimization of my protein synthesis were secondary considerations... dont care about "getting big" at all.

I am very pleased with the results and the way I feel, my athletic performance is way way up, and I feel great.

My diet is dialed the fuck in. I eat in IF pattern shooting for ~2500Cal / day totals for the day (split over 2 meals):

I am rarely ever hungry outside of my scheduled meal times; and I attribute that to the immense amount of fiber, fat, vitamins and minerals my diet contains. In fact I keep 4 fun size Snickers bars right next to my desk at home in sight as a mental strength exercise... been doing it for 4 weeks and havent eaten them yet :)

Ive been doing IF for a while and just recently added keto and pescetarian to my list of meme cutting diets.

Im not super strict with my pescetarianism, i still eat jello (sugar free, of course) and i still eat eggs but as far as meat goes it's only seafood for me

need some tips for stuff to snack on during my eating period though. I keep getting cravings for carbs and ive caved a couple of times, unfortunately, and i really dont just want to eat fish ALL the time. Its nice for my "dinner" meal but i dont want to get tired of it too quickly

Completely change your workouts. Like for example. If you do machines, you can do the same workout but with free weights. It doesn't have the same support as the machinese do and you are in a different position. Gravity will affect it more and cause your muscles to react differently to this new force thats acting against it. But I would suggest change the movements completely

This has been my diet for the last month.

Im scared to dip below 2000kcals at this point because i dont want to lose my progress in my lifts.

Ive also become addicted to malt loaf because its now my only source of sugar as well as diet fizzy drinks.

At the moment im around 183lbs 16-18%bf.

Doing Clenbuterol (80mcg/day) for a month, then T3 (100mcg/day) for a month, repeat as necessary is going to be the easiest, least painful, most effective way to supplement fat loss for the average /fit/ user. You could try to get to very low BF and get rid of it, but most people don't want to be sub 10% all their life.
I would suggest keep lifting and be positive.
You have a good body now and it could be much worse.
Some people have terrible stretch marks, some people have scars all over their body (like mine).
