Do you mean the bar and two plates on each side or a plate on each side?

1pl8 = 60kg
2pl8 = 100kg

Is a 70 kg bench press considered somewhat good by non-/fit/ standards?

1x bw ok
1,25x bw decent
1,5x bw strong

Thanks. Apparently i'm a novice..

I benched 225 for 5 recently but regressed since then. don't let this happened to you.

No. 2pl8s is. By fit standards 2,5pl8s is somewhat good.

Me too. I can barely bench 70 kilos for three reps and I weigh 75 kilos. I haven't progressed on bench in months.

Still novice tier strength, but been lifting for a year so that makes me intermediate.

What should matter is relative strength, that is, relative to your bodyweight.
For progress you should eat+sleep more, microload, deload if stalling, add assistance or change the lift for a couple of workouts.
For bench press I would recommend switching to dumbells and adding close grip bench press as assistance
>>
Eat more and find a decent program to follow. Stop grinding and stalling and just do more work. Volume is king.
>>
Why the fuck I am so good at bench press?

been lifting 1 month. Went from a 1 rep 60kg and now 100kg 2 reps.
Only twice a week. 3x6 with a good warmup. And I weight about the same. From 84 to 86 kg.

Is this normal?
I do SS + some BB exercises. And running 20 min a day.
