Whenever I try to deadlift heavy (350+ lbs), my grip fails. When I do 330-340 lbs, it is easy for my back and legs, but I can barely hold onto the bar. What are some good accesories I can throw into my routine to help with this?
I'm currently just getting started on the texas method if that matters.

Deadlift: 350

Are you using mixed grip? And do you drop the bar instead of doing a whole rep?

Yeah, I'm using mixed grip. Whenever the weight is 350+ I can't even hold onto it long enough to get it all the way up.
Fat bar shit, I suggest farmers walks, trap bar carries if you have one. Go heavy, walk for a minute total at the end of your sessions. You can put the weight down but the clock stops when the weight hits the ground, begins when you're walking again.

Oh and progress in time, when you can walk the whole minute, up the weight.
Obvious answer is wrist wraps
Mixed grip would help aswell

hook grip

How often do you think I should do farmer's walks? Just once a week when I deadlift? Three times a week until my forearms don't suck?

do more pull ups/dead hangs/farmer's carry/wrist curls/reverse wrist curls
shit ain't rocket science, bruh

How often should I train my forearms? Is 3x a week overdoing it?
>>34503265
i do full body 3x a week, so no it would not be overdoing it lol

Wrist curls wont really help with grip strenght tbh fam smh

Do u chalk?

My gym doesn't allow chalk. I think I'll just start doing farmer's walks for a minute at the end of my workout 3x a week.
