lemme break it down for you like this
you know who has the most normal relationships in the show? Like, multiple girlfriends, a wife, and a kid? Krillin, and he's a weak bitch. But he wasn't always this way - it only started once he started engaging in normal social activity - around the Saiyan saga, when he dated Marron. This cost him his gains, his money, and his relevance as a character - but this is only exhibit A.
Now, let's examine Goku for a second - through dragonball, he's very strong relative to the other characters - until he starts fucking with bitches (ChiChi) towards the end of the original show and gets married. He hits a plateau, and stays there for years, only to get fucked up by his much stronger brother, who (no homo) hangs out with 2 other dudes for years at a time. He gets killed, and therefore separated from Chichi. You know what happens then? The gains train leaves station, he becomes 10 times stronger over the course of a year. But, when he gets back home and starts hanging out with his wife, the gains train grinds to a halt, and only starts back up again when he leaves his bitch gains goblin wife to go to another planet. And now that he's light-years away from her, he goes fucking super saiyan. As you can see, proximity to bitches is inversely proportional to gains. Think about it, whenever Goku makes big off-screen gains, it's when he's nowhere near his wife, or any kind of pussy for that matter.
This point is also illustrated loud and clear by Vegeta's story. For a time, he is prince of the bros - the strongest onscreen character, a no-homo manlet. But, he falls off hard - suspiciously around the time he meets, and subsequently gets it in Bulma. Since Vegeta's home planet was destroyed at a young age, it can be assumed that this is when he turned in his V-card.

That is, until he meets Gohan - he quickly drops from being the second or third most powerful onscreen character to at best, the fourth or fifth. He momentarily recovers his power by training in isolation from Gohan after being killed, and again by taking another man inside of him (Nail) on Namek. However, his intimacy with Gohan returns, and his gains recede. He makes a small comeback when he takes a second man inside of him (Kami). But, during the Buu saga when he has TWO boy love interests (Trunks and Gotenks) is when he becomes completely irrelevant.

that's hard to say since there's not an abundance of Saiyan women in the canon. The only example I can think of would be Goku's mom - but this only confirms the trend we've been seeing, since Goku's dad is only able to go super saiyan AFTER Goku's mom is dead. But that's non canon movie bullshit anyway.
I think the more interesting example to examine would be how chiaotzu effected Tien's gains over time - because chiaotzu is a female, or something. The only time I can think of where they were seen apart so we could measure the difference is when chiaotzu blew his/herself up on Nappa. But, again, this made Tien stronger with only one arm than he was with chiaotzu around with two arms, so it's just solidifying the trend.

Come to think of it, Vegeta, Piccolo, Frieza, Broly, The androids, and Babidi all had some kind of relationship with their fathers - or father figure/creator. And you know what else? They were all villains. Now, this might be a coincidence, but lets dig a little bit deeper.
Gohan, Goku, Trunks (future and regular) and Gotenks all had dads who were either deadbeats, or just regular dead, and none of them turned out to be evil. Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and most of the gang never had dads - or at least dads that appeared on screen - and they all turned out good.
Here's the kicker though - Goku's brother Raditz defining difference with Goku is that he was the older sibling - and this means that he met, and was exposed to their father, while Goku was not. Raditz became a villain. I'm not gonna jump to any conclusions, but the evidence is as it stands.

I think the human body could probably take at most 1.5-2x gravity for a relatively long period of time without falling apart too quickly. You wouldn't want to stay there very long though, and I don't think it would be very beneficial to strength training.

Dragonball Z till this day still encourages me to push my limits of potential.... and all because of Vegeta. Never has a show portrayed a man who's only goal is to become the best he can be, his training is by far the most ruthless of them all in DBZ, even Goku admits that Vegeta's training is beyond what Goku puts himself through.
Every time I'm about to break down in working out I think of him as a way to motivate myself to push even further. I imagine myself having already reached Super Saiyan this past year.... the next goal is to reach Super Saiyan 2 which is literally twice the muscle mass I have now which will be extremely difficult.... just like in the show.
