Femanon visiting. I'm 5'4, 112 lbs. I'm just starting to bulk at 200 kcal over maintenance. My goal body is pic related. I plan on bulking till about the end of March or mid-April, then cutting.

I guess my question is, how long do you think I should actually bulk for, considering I want to look good for June/July. Any calorie advice would be welcome, and also is this goal body achievable for one bulk?

You might want to spell out exactly what you're seeing in the goal body so we can give a better assessment. What I'm seeing is a little muscle definition, especially in the quad. Thats' certainly possible in 6-ish months if you start lifting seriously. And you have a pretty modest surplus. I wouldn't expect you to have to cut much.

Dunno about that butt though. You might not be able to achieve that exact shape.

Look into a beginner strength program like SS or StrongLIts or similar. Remember, you will need to lift actual weight. Not some bullshit "toning' routine. 5-8 reps, max effort. It should only be easy for the like the first month. After that you should be struggling to complete sets.

I recommend checking out the lean mass phase.
It's essentially what you're doing now, just that you never stop going over 200 calories.
If you notice a little more fat, then do a mini cut for 4 weeks then continue.

You have a good plan, I'd say bulk til mid-late March then cut from there. Plenty of squats and deadlifts obviously. Don't be afraid to go heavy

I recently started doing weighted side bends and ab wheel couple times a week, my core is feeling way tighter so I recommend those, weighted leg raises are good too

Swimming is god-tier as well so if you have that as an option do that

Make sure your diet is clean. Lots of vegetables, good amount of fruit. Nuts, oils, lean protein. Oats and quinoa are the best grains you can eat, everything else is pretty much shit (brown rice is okay but quinoa is similar and way better)

Between squats and deadlifts, you should be covered there. But don't forget to keep your upper body in proportion. Your hormones will take care of maintaining feminine figure.

Stats? Rep ranges? Are you adding to your lifts? That's really the best way to gauge progress.

The important thing is to progress, not just lift the same weight every week.

I eat a good amount of fruits and vegetables. I eat literally about 160g of nuts a day. 80g for breakfast and 80g for lunch. The rest is eggs, fish, chicken breast, steak, etc. I visit my parents on Sundays so those days I do a lot of cardio to burn off 400-500 kcal and eat whatever my mom cooks. Kind of like a cheat meal but I stay within my specified calories.

I don't normally eat grains but for bulking I think I should. I started having oats for breakfast again and man...I missed them.

Squat: weak...very weak. I can't keep my balance despite all the help I'm getting. Can't even squat the bar without falling. Don't know why.
Deadlift: Max is 45kg.
OHP: Don't laugh...15kg 5x5.
Rows: 22.5kg 5x5, but my back always hurts at the end. It's definitely not too heavy for my upper back, but maybe my lower back isn't ready. Or my form is wrong. Started doing lat pulldowns instead till I can get some help.

monitoring thread since i'm also doing my first lean bulk now. i switched from 1400cal/day cut to around 2000 on rest and 2400-2500 on training days, also i started taking creatine like two weeks back and the bloat is REAL. i said it in another thread, i thought cutting was bad with all the meticulous calorie counting and constant peckishness, but bulking, man, i can't even look in the mirror. trying to gain weight is everything that most women DON'T want. eating is mentally exhausting

Front squats were far too awkward for my gf to do in the beginning. Try and see if you can place the bar properly without much effort, her wrists were too stiff.
Go get a broom handle and practice at home to see which one fits you the best, either way you are going to have to fuck around a lot with your arms until you understand how you make the shelf for the bar, rather do it at home I assume.

My gf grows equally at all rep ranges she tried so I have no comment for that. (5x5-12x3)

Then front squats will most likely be very comfortable for you, go ahead and try them!
When doing chin ups and pull ups try to start the movement by pulling with your lats and keeping your arms still, probably helps a bit with the pain.
Try different grip width and such, remember to start slow and don't hurt yourself going all out on a new exercise or one you rarely do.

Not that different. If you don't want to get "too bulky," just don't lift. It's that simple. IF you want to build muscle., lift. There's no mysterious magical in between where you somehow get more "tone' without actually adding bulk (muscle). These high rep routines are just less efficient. It's like going to a bad school because you're afraid of getting "too educated."

The only real difference between men and women in terms of fitness is a) amount of testosterone, and therefore natty limit is much lower and b) women can usually do more reps closer to their max, so they have a different 1RM calculation.

High rep "toning" routine are BULLSHIT. "Toning" is not a real thing. You either build muscle or lose fat. That's it. You don't "tone." Any routine that emphasizes "toning" can be disregarded.

I'd have to see. But there's plenty of videos out there and "feeling like you're falling" is extremely common. I'm sure you don't actually fall. It's just squatting is unnatural to a lot of people. I was actually surprised. I thought everyone could do it until I started visiting forums like this.

I'd say 300 would be about right. The typical 500 would probably be overkill though.

Since maintenance is a tricky thing to pinpoint for me, I prefer to go by average weekly weight gain than a calculated estimate. Calculators put me at 2100 for maintenance, and I didn't start gaining anything until 2700.
