OP, don't listen to the people who tell you to learn to fight. They'll just hold you back. Here's what you have to do:

Choking someone is 100% the easiest way to in a fight. Advanced chokes, like the ankle scissor choke and the arm bar choke, are nice, but unnecessary. Even the rear naked choke is overdoing it. What you need, is the double wrist toke and choke.

Ever seen some arm wrestler with massive fuckin forearms? That's you. That guy doesn't need to worry about self defense, he's got wrists thicker than a powerlifter's chode. These guys are expert wrist chokers. You wrist curl to failure, every day, before you get out of bed. Then, when you get jumped, you wrap your popeye meat around the guy's neck, and just pretend to curl. Instant choke out.

We can do better though. If you're smart, you'll alternate wrist curls in bed so you don't get asymmetric gains. Then, you make an X with your hands, and do wrist curls with both arms around the guy's throat. 2 arms = twice as fast choke out.

But we can do better. Since you're choking with your wrists, your hands are free to maneuver about your target's face. When you ready your choke stance, you've secretly brought a blunt into your hand. It can't be any simple grass either, it's got to be the fattest doobie he's ever seen. Then, when he's sucking his last, you tactically insert the ganja into his mouth. No oxygen, 100% hotbox. He'll choke even faster, and everyone around you thinks you're just having a good time.

Remember OP, this is the real deal. The covert, tried and true, double wrist toke and choke. I've done it countless times on unsuspecting manlets and soccer moms who got in my way, I'm sure you can do it too. Good luck brother!

And do anaerobic and aerobic cardio every day.

Cardio and explosivity are more important than strength, but for sure get your noob gains to,build a strength base.

You bump your bench up from 130 to 230, you will see improvements in the gym.

Ohp and deadlift should be your mose important lift.
Squats and box jumps for kicking.
Do serratus press as well

If it's street fighting, just don't even participate. You'll get fucked up over the dirtiest of the dirt. Weapons, gouging, elbows, chokes, fuck all that shit nigga.

Now if it's somewhat respectable fighting, you'll mostly just need to utilize compound movements that allow you to be fast and powerful. Bodyweight shit is pretty useful here, but using weights for extra pushing power is obviously needed.

Technique will also be a huge fucking part. Just punch a punching bag. If it swivels and turns, you're not punching to the fullest.

Or, you know, just buy a gun and don't look for a fight you faggot.

Look up any militarized hand to hand cimbat. I personally advise krav maga for street scenarios. Its an Israeli gorila tactical fighting style designed to end a fight quickly as possible. They also teach knife fighting and defense against someone with a knife when you don't.

No fighting technique will help you if you get jumped or sucker punched. But it will help you respond to aggression in a much more controlled manner. Also it will help you be aware of your surroundings, and you can be mentally prepared for an attack based off of the ques around you.

You had it right the first time, speed=power with punches. When you use weights you're not building any power, only muscle fatigue endurance and stability of the arms themselves. This is exactly why you dont see too many fighters with huge biceps. They have huge shoulder, chest, and core muscles. Because thats the weight/power you are using. Your only arms need to be fast and able to remain stable behind your body weight.

Yep because the world is so perfect you can promise yourself you can be able to getvthe gun out, chamber a round saftey off before you are taking punches? Also you'd feel good shooting someone for punching you? Really? Why not just flee? Its just as cowardly and nobody dies. Also you dont risk getting your gun stolenband then they use it to kill/rob someone else.
