The diet that removed most of my fat for me was a heavy caloric deficit keto at nearly 50% of my tdee. That got me through overweightness. To 10%. At which I mostly stabilized. I also used green tea extract.
But I wouldnt recommend this if you are working or if you are looking to make good gainz for your muscles. The green tea will kill your test, alongside the caloric deficit which increases your cortisol.
I did this for 3 weeks, with one week to build it all up, and then 2 weeks of pure suffering, what felt like I was dying. Its EXTREMELY hard. Your willpower needs to be godlike. If you are a smoker, or a past smoker that relapses from time to time for example, it will be impossible to keep up. Because the food cravings are fairly huge.
Additionally, I also run 2 times a week in a club. So thats another form of sport besides weight lifting that burns through my calories. Running especially is good for this since you are going to be literally consuming your fat to keep on running (its a good motivator to increase your performance when you feel like utter shit, knowing that you are losing fat fast)
After this, I nearly relapsed. Almost went on keto again, but instead found the intermittent fasting thing. Which seems to work even better. And now I am stable and perhaps even losing BF again. Carbs on training days, fats and proteins on rest days. No eating for 6 hours after I wake up. Seems to work to at least keep me stable, which is the hardest part of weight loss. But since I have some loose skin its hard to tell if I am losing weight or not, it seems like it though.
