My younger brother who is 17 has just been told by his GP (doctor) that people shouldn't lift until their early 20s because their spine is still growing.
Doc even says that stuff like benchpress is a no-go, as it still partially loads the back.
What should my younger brother do? He doesnt want to fucking wait for 4-5 years to start lifting.
So some time ago I started feeling numbness in the area shown in pic related. Its preventing me from progressing in DL, rows and pullups. Am I doomed to be a faggot forever? Anyone had something similar?
So i didn´t feel like buying measuring calipers, so heres some pics for helping me guess my bf %. Thanks in advance.
I think im 20ish, maybe 22% ?!?!
Also: why is my left bizeps bigger and weaker, but my left arm in total is smaller...?
Greets from /k
How do I make them stop growing?
I almost never do shrugs and yet they still keep getting bigger and bigger and almost consume my neck.
How do I ungrow my traps?
>Want to be strong af when it comes to tossing people around like they are rag dolls, none of that "how much you can bench noise"
>Also wanna be aesthetic af
How does one go about this? I don't think traditional lifting/bodybuilding really helps with ass kicking strength/power
Pic related; will try this routine
I see 4 hours of training a day on some of that.
Are you really going to be able to devote that much time?
I'm all for non-traditional workouts. Try throwing some heavy bags around. Wrestle. Do some of the other shit too, but I don't see how anyone not sponsored could maintain the schedule you propose.
Who's you're're /fit/fu?...or /fit/ girl thread

All answers that arent Allison Stokke or Lidia Valentin are wrong.
High fat vs High carb diet. Just watched this, I'm on keto diet but with more protein than fat, and is it good?
On a per-calorie basis, cutting fat burns more body fat than cutting carbs, but over time there's no real difference between the two
>be 6' even
>tell everyone I'm 5' 11.9"
/Fit/ how can i know more roman representations of the human body, for example
The cupids bow refers to the upper lip
The mound of venus refers to pubic region
Achilles heels, etc
What other part are there?
It's really hard to distinguish a myth from a real thing so /fit/ tell me, is it right that u shouldnt eat in about 1-2 hour after ab exercise? i eat in about 30 minutes.
also general workout myths thread i guess?
Can someone link me to the video where Jason said he was a reptilian?
Broke my left pinky knuckle in a bar fight last night. Now I can't even lift up a water bottle.
>not gonna make it
>never gonna make it
yeah yeah, you've never done shit, how can anyone believe someone who posts all day on a fit message board and has shit lifts. I'd never believe anyone who doesn't have a 2.5x body weight squat.
Is beer really good for gain for it's just Jason Momoa shilling the brand?
alcohol is just pure calories, has zero nutritional value, dehydrates you and affects protein synthesis
Parr EB, Camera DM, Areta JL, Burke LM, Phillips SM, et al. (2014) Alcohol Ingestion Impairs Maximal Post-Exercise Rates of Myofibrillar Protein Synthesis following a Single Bout of Concurrent Training. PLoS ONE 9(2): e88384. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0088384
You wake up one morning to this body.
