I'm a firefighter and I HATE doing core, but I'm really tall (2.1m) and core is vital to injury prevention. Specifically back injuries.

get surgery if you absolutely must. why not? you worked really fucking hard to get a good body, why not spend a little to get that last step.

If you dont feel the need to rest, then you are probably not training as hard as you should be. Fatigue and the feeling that you need a day off is a good indicator that the program you are on is working. There's other things in life besides lifting. Go out and enjoy them on your rest days.

Is it a good idea to take your mom to go lifting with you? She is concious of her bingo wings and wants to get into better shape. I told her the way to go is barbell training and keeping track of caloric intake. Does anyone have experience taking their mom's to go lifting? Thanks.
Moms will almost always be there for you. Most guys have dads that are dicks or flake out. Most moms are pretty based. The least you could do is not be such a little self conscious faggot and teach your mom how to work out. Hey /fit/ have any of you ever had shoulder/rotator cuff tendonitis or chronic shoulder pain?
I hurt my shoulder 6 months ago so I now officially have a chronic injury.
I have this pain that's been around for a month now. Every week it heals but then after shoulder day I feel it again for about 2 days. I hope it doesn't get worse, I'm not gonna interrupt the workout routine because of it unless it gets worse.
