I lift and do other sport-specific training because I want to excel at a competitive sport. Lifting for 'social' reasons (i.e., thinking you'll get more female attention, or thinking you'll be more popular, etc) is moronic.

Any of you phags to strongman training? I started few months ago, doing a program called Cube Method. I really like it so far, just hit 200kg farmer walk today, feels good man. Yoke carry is brutal too. Too bad no stones at my gym though.

I'm bulking. It takes too long to eat.
I spend a solid 3+ hours per day just eating, that's not even scratching the surface of the iceberg that is preparing all that food.
How do I cut this down? Meal prep helps but honestly, not that much beyond reducing the amount of attention I have to pay making the food. Anyways I could do that if the process of eating it all didn't take as long.
Can I IF it and shove down dense calories all in one giant meal, or something like that?
what about the good old chicken dices with pasta
you get everything minus the veggies (not like you need them after all), doesn't take long to prepare (about 15-20 min) and you can eat it quick enough
just cook like 200g of pasta, slice in dices and fry about 250-300g of chicken, then mix everything

If that number was with prep, I might understand, but even then it's on the high side.
Select more calorie-dense foods, prep more food at a time, snack inbetween on high-calorie snacks like cashews, use protein shakes to achieve your protein goals. Just watch your fats etc if you snack on a lot of nuts.
You shouldn't be spending more than 30 minutes a day eating that way, even if you're aiming for 3-4kCals.
Also, you can do something useful while eating, or at least something recreational.
Well I think that's part of it, 2 of the 3 meals I'm in front of my computer fucking around on /fit/ or watching netflix or something. And then it distracts me a bit and I eat slower.

I play in a soccer league twice a week and lift three times but I feel like being able to defend yourself is also important
There's a gym like 16 minutes where i live that does Muay Thai lessons and they seem pretty good. Luckily im a student so my summer is gonna be wasted by not doing any work and video games so i may go out and get a job and start going gym (Working out at home for now).
When should I train traps? On back days or shoulder days? I combine chest and back on one day and shoulders and arms on another. Which day should I throw traps into? It kind of works the shoulders and the back.
What rep range for how many sets on dips and chinups?
If you get over ten, start progressing with weight at.
For example, add a weight so you can only do about 5 reps a set. Once you can do 8 reps a set, increase the weight so you can only do 5.
I have a sizable imbalance in my muscles between the left and right side of my body. What can I do to fix it?

Currently sitting out my last year of track in high school, which sucks as much dick as you might imagine. Was looking to get my 800 time down to around 2:05 so that I could help us win conference. Unfortunately tendonitis currently has its 10-inch cock rammed up my asshole, so I can't do shit but sit around and hope I at least get healthy before summer conditioning starts for college.
Had a solid cross-country season though, with a PR of 17:43 for the 3-mile, which I never expected from myself.
