So I've got a jacked up lower back. Tried to do numerous weight lifting workouts but the pain always stops me from making it a routine. Stretching and cardio are activities that I'm actually able to do. So my assumption would be that this would be something I could also do.
They claim to do no weight lifting in this program but all looked ripped. Is this actually possible or a pipe dream?
Why doesn't the average American man lift anymore?
What do you mean, anymore? The average man, worldwide, has never lifted. It's debatable that they've even tried and failed, let alone lifted for a good amount of time in their lives. This isn't new, anon.
I'd wager even the majority of people that come to /fit/ will (and have) fail within the first year of trying and never attempt again.
Wtf /fit/ why this happens and how can i fix it i just recovered from being an untrained lazy fat fuck and this shit bothers me a lot
>Knee pain from squatting, but not when squatting?
Squat 3,5 times a week. Pain in center of the knee. Only occures in certain position. Using knee sleeve haven't cured it either.
Can someone like him be fix?
>he eats GMO
>take total testosterone test a week ago
>result came in mail today
>mfw it's fucking 305ng/dL lower than the bottom 5% of 55-59 yo
What the fuck do I do? Anyone how much you can increase it by making lifestyle changes? I'm pretty sure the placebo from knowing it's this low is ruining it even further, Im getting fucked up as I post

No, now you can bother your doctor to give you one. Doctors rarely ever think low test is a problem so they rarely test for it unless their patient is extremely adamant about it, and now that you know you're low you can bother him hard.
>end up in ICU for random chest pain
>turns out to be an infection in my heart
>doc tells me I can't lift for 6 months
>my gains are going to atrophy into skelly
Is it gay to look up handsome dudes out of nowhere? Sometimes I just enjoy admiring the aesthetics.
Has anyone tried the strength 5×5 program?
Ive been at it for almost a month and reached 50kg in my squats today. Not only does my routine consist of the regular squats, deadlift, benchpress, barbell row and overhead press, alternating between benchpress/deadlifts and barbellrow/overhead press every second day, but i include running 5 mins before workout, lunges and various body excercises like dips, pushups, pull ups and planking. The thing is though, today when squatting it felt a lot more difficult then previous sessions. Ive been increasing the weight by 2.5kg every...

It's a beginner program because it's so basic, you don't want it to get to complicated when you're just starting out. After you're comfortable with the direction you're in then you can add them slowly on alternating days.
Pic related me when I did the SL 5x5 program even though it's a strength program I still gained a bit of nice mass.
It's normal. Eventually, adding weight every session gets really fucking hard. So hard that you need to reset the weight a bit to be able to continue. Eventually that falls too, and you need more complex programming.
I'm not gay or anything, but who else here can't stop checking handsome men out? It's not that I wanna be a girl or anything, but I think if I was a girl I'd have sex with these guys no homo.
Anyone else feel this way?
The sooner you accept the fact that you are bi/gay, the happier you will be. I personally struggled with thinking I was straight for years. My life turned around as soon as I accepted my sexuality.
Recently i saw something about brining a chicken breast before cooking it, tried it and it is fucking amazing thanks /fit/
on the pic bacon wrapped chick breast
My personal one is when people make "salads" like this. All mayo, pasta and possibly a pickle somewhere. Or, even worse, when people make a really nice and healthy salad and DROWN IT IN DRESSING, OH MY GOD
Who /stretchmarks/ here?
Does intimidation work anymore? Or does the general pop believe they're bullet proof like their superheroes in the movies?
I ask because some random bum on the street picked a fight with me when I gave him every reason not to, and he still went at me. Somehow I doubt the mace I sprayed in his eyes was enough to prevent him going after other people in the future.
People have a very low threshold for what 'advantage' will make them feel invincible. I've known little 100 lb girls who feel they don't have to fear anyone just because they carry pepper stray in their purse.
They don't think they are superheroes. They just don't give a shit or don't fully grasp the potential consequences of their actions.
Get a little MMA training under your belt and try to avoid a fight if possible, but when it comes to being out and about in the world everyone gets their number pulled by somebody eventually.
If you aren't confident in your ability to defend yourself or diffuse a situation you should arm yourself with the knowledge and training you need.
