Can we have a thread about fitness related jobs?
I used to be a depressed fatass, and exercise saved my sanity and my life. I'd like to do something with fitness career-wise, but I don't know much about the industry. I'm hoping to pick up an entry level position this summer, like front desk work, so I can learn more about it.
There are 3 independent gyms, 2 sports centers, 4 chain gyms (LAFitness, Planet Fitness, etc), some physical therapy clinics, 2 yoga studios, etc in my town

Most big gyms offer PT training courses with a qualification at the end, you just have to work for them for a certain amount of time afterward for it be valid or some shit.
Being a PT is more about making people feel good about themselves that it is fitness knowledge though. So if you aren't socially confident and well-presented then forget it.
lads, I'm in serious trouble. I moved to a small town with only on gym in a sixty mile radius. Their dumbells only go to 70lbs, and they have no squat rack or bench press. They do have some good machines and cable stations. I'll be replacing squats with leg presses, but can I replace bench press with the butterfly machine? If not, what's a better supplement? Also wtf do I do for OHP? I can do 70lbs dumbbell shoulder press for 3x10.

I do daily cardio and there always some qt azn grill in lycra in front.
I have heard that 6g of this twice day significantly increases muscle growth. Can anyone confirm? Leucine in general not necessarily this brand.

hey fit, i have a theory i'd like to test out, but i need some help in coming up with the data to support/refute it.
-how much nofap helped you out in terms of confidence, drive, motivation, and general mood, on a scale of 0-10, with 5 being no discernible change (so if it made you feel terrible, put 0, if it made you feel great, 10).
-how masculine you would consider your genetics to be (jawline, hairiness, shoulder width, etc), again 0-10 with 5 being 'average', 0 being 'i could pass for a female' and 10 being stan smith / archer

I pulled a tendon in my shoulder, when is it safe to train again?
It hurt a lot to move the shoulder in any direction when I first hurt it, but now it only hurts when I try to stretch it.
The sticky tells to get about 1g of protein per pound is this actually true? I have tried do some research but a lot of sources tell me you don't need that much. What do you guys think?
