How do I lose fat & gain muscle without anyone knowing that I am trying?
Is there any difference in benefit between dumbell curls and barbells curls?
Does it take strength only about a week to increase? And if I can't lift the weight I was using a few hours earlier, thats good, yes? Just rest until the day after tomorrow or whatever.
I'm weak as shit and I need to start increasing my strength. I will work on the muscle building as planned but I need strength as well.
I currently do not have a rack/bench.
I have a barbell and a ton of plates.
I need to work on my mobility and whatnot for squats. But in the meantime, is this enough?:
Bent Over Rows
See about some front squats or plate squats (grab a plate and squat), too. The movement is important. If you're doing heavy deads, the weight of your squats isn't as important.

they measure it by breaking the food down into it's components, fat, proteins, etc. Those have specific calorie amounts so after that it's simple math

I have a friend that was told my multiple orthopaedic docs that he would just have to live with and "manage" back pain. A chiropractor got his back straight pretty quickly. It really changed his life.

to increase your lifts, as much time as you like, and desu you can just go for strength and still cut to a low body fat and work abs while being strong instead of doing a meme bodybuilder routine built for people on roids

Ok /fit/ so I'm moving into the single quarters barracks this week and I have to get groceries and whatnot. I may have access to an electric single burner and mini fridge. I'm pretty poor at the time being payments and whatnot, I can afford about 250$ CAD tops and I'm trying to eat low carb/sugar and high fat/protein. Any tips?

Elbow position affects which muscles are used for the movement. Elbows tucked in will recruit the lats and front delts more while your 45 degree angle will invole the pecs more, depending of course on your own physiology.

hey man just quit recently myself, I started smoking at 14 and am now 22yo & 2 weeks clean
after a week the cravings will calm down, the tightness in your head will start to fade, your brain will start to work to repair the damage nicotine causes
after that it's all mental cravings you have to control, if you have an abnormal stressful event you have to really watch yourself that you don't talk yourself into smoking again
I'm curious about this. How did you guys started smoking? Never smoked in my life, and I've always seen people around me start despite all the anti smoke ads, and schools telling you about the effects.
People typically give me the run around when I ask about how they started, with one notable exception being one guy I knew who began while deployed in Iraq as a stress reliever.
This weekend I went full on Vegan for the first time. All of my meals consisted of plant based
"complete" protein sources. If my calculations are correct I managed to get roughly 220 grams of protein a day. I have to report that the only noticeable difference is looking a bit "softer" in addition to some bloating. But I do feel somewhat "fuller" both in terms of satiety and with regards to my muscles. I dunno....
I'm pretty sure I'll always consume meat on some level but if I can still make gains and if this is indeed healthier...

i went vegan for health reasons, my muscles didn't change (i only lift to maintain now). Even if it made your gains worse who cares your overall health is much more important, don't forget cardio too
