Went to to doctor, told her i had lost 6 kilos at the gym but had not been making progress for the last 2 weeks. Tells me to drop lifting and only do cardio, but "only for 40 minutes because anymore is a waste 2 hours of cardio and 40 minutes uses the same amount of calories "
This sounds unreal but as a profesional I listen to her advice is the doctor just wrong?

You diabetic brah? Other than that you probably forfeited alot of muscle mass (if you had any) when you cut so much. Start working out and doing hiit. Also count your damn calories and stay away from sugar and fast food bullshit. Time you started looking at food as fuel not comfort.

Anyone one else just lifting for bane mode/dad mode? Eat what you want without overdoing it, lift when you can, but focus on your school/career first. Over the years, end up pretty big.
This describes me perfectly except i didnt want a dad bod when i started. I miscalculated my tdee by almost 500kcal somehow and gained a fucking belly. Whatever though im sure im way stronger than i wouldve been clean bulking

Cardio Is great for cutting weight if you dont mind in a deadperiod for muscle gains.
Strength will come, but slower if you run often.
Its great for the heart and melts bf.

The ideal weekly exersize routine in my opinion would be 3-4 days cardio, 1-2 days resistance weight training of some sort for example the gym, calisthenics or sports such as rowing.
