Should i do SS if im on steroids and my lifts are novice level? or go for a 4 day split?

there's actually a section in the SS book about this. "Training on steroids" basically its the same program, but with 6 days a week instead of 3. also, you increase lifts by 10lbs each time, not 5

to put things in order
i had 160kg deadlift
140kg squat
and 90kg bench for 8 reps
when i weighted 78kg
i had to quit lifting and the sport i do for a period of a year
now i want to get back to same level + get to the level i wud be by now
i realise the lifts i had arent impressive either but lifting weights wasnt my main concern either
I was doing allot of atlas stone work and was very impressed with the way it was developing my back. Sadly my gym don't have stones anymore.
I want some form of heavy back work and I discovered the Zercher Deadlift which sort of looks like a stone or sandbag lift in the initial set up. Has anyone ever used these? They look like a great back developer but I have never done them. What are the benefits?

I can only talk on my experience, but my back lagged for ages and it wasnt til i started doing high weight low rep pendlay rows that i really got thickness. Something to do with that activation and deactivation of the lats just blew my shit up. Make sure your form is good though or you will experience activation then deactivation of your vertebrae.

Hello, I am 6'2 and almost sixteen stone I've been piss poor for a while but can finally pay for the gym,and I know theres no excuse however being as it's next to home/work I have no reason to not go.
My girlfriend reassures me day in and out how "cuddly I am" and how she would hate if I had the same body I did five years ago. (Was pretty buff and healthy but only 12 stone and given my height that made me quite bone and skinny)
