Anons who got in shape after being fat how did you find the motivation to work out and eat healthy? Struggling with that atm
Does anyone on /fit/ wear glasses or cotacts? I suppose it could help with lifts and focus. My left eye has gotten pretty bad that things are blurry but i dont want glasses or anything that will stop me from getting pussy. Anyone who says "glasses wont stop you from getting pussy," I will direct you to how women value power and presence, and someone with glasses cannot be a true chad. But aside from that, which many of you might not like. I am trying to figure out what to do
I'm around a -3.00 prescription both eyes.
I lift just as well without glasses/contacts - the biggest difference is I can't read the fucking numbers on the dumbbells/plates unless I squint or get my face right in there. Colored plates also help.
I fucking hate glasses. They get dirty easily, and are easy to bump into/damage, have limited field of view, suffer from optical aberrations, are expensive, are uncomfortable, and are generally unattractive.
Contacts are even more expensive (unless you replace your glasses frequently), uncomfortable for full days, can actually be dangerous to your eyes in certain circumstances, can't correct all types of vision problems, and if they don't fit perfectly won't even give the same visual clarity as glasses.

I was ez bar curling today, with good form I thought, and I got shooting pain on the left side of my back. It was only 20lbs.
Now it hurts to twist and the general area feels tight.

For real though, the back is super complicated. Just heat the area up where it hurts, it will help relax the muscles and provide better blood flow to the area to speed up recovery.

How really important is it not to overtrain? I'm a begginer (3 months lifting) I have a bench press machine in my house and when I'm stressed I like to bust out a set or two. I probably do this like 3 times a day on top of ss. Is this gonna destroy my gains.
You won't notice it because you have no experience lifting.
You probably aren't benching anything serious so whatever, go 'bust a set or two' if that makes you feel better, but you will accomplish nothing

If you hit your macronutrients to a reasonable extent and get sufficient calories, unless you're lacking some things severely in your diet you WILL get the necessary micros you need.
furthermore most people take multivitamins which makes certain all your micros are hit.
