Hey /fit/, what's the point in cheat days? I had my first one this year yesterday and I feel like shit.
PSA cheat day doesn't mean eat 8000 calories of pizza and soda. Means eat your maintenance or slightly above and one or two items you usually wouldn't.
Yeah everytime i go for one i end up splurging a few days worth of caloric deficit and ruining my cut.
Last week was a pint of ben n jerrys 1k kcal. Week before was dominos whole thin pizza and 16chicken nuggets. Im still losing weigh altho i could have lost more without those sprees
Cheat days are for people who really enjoy things that aren't healthy.
I would imagine most fit people don't have them, or they do but very rarely. It literally is giving in to weakness for a momentary pleasure.
It took me 4 years and countless hours in the gym, but I am finally approaching "made it" tier.
After making every mistake in the book, the fruits of my labor are starting to pay off. Starting out as a scrawny teenager, moving into a chubby young adult, I am now 26 and in the absolute best shape of my life.
I notice people staring and treating me differently. I feel more confident than ever. It's a truly great thing
Moral of the story is to just keep working and eat right. Don't get discouraged. You don't have to look like Arnold...

Just this weekend I went to my friend's birthday party, and her younger sister and her friends were all there too (18-21 year olds) and the guys were all asking me shit about how much I lift and shit and the girls were all flirty and touching my chest and arms and shit when they were talking to me. I wasn't even dressed douchey, I had on a sweater most of the night and a t-shirt later.

I think I've hit a front squat plateau. It's just a personal goal of mine to just put all of my focus on the front squat instead of the back squat. Sometimes I'll do timed holds with 315lbs in the front squat rack position just to get used to the weight, but holding it feels like absolute death, and at times it feels impossible that I'll be able to actually front squat it.

Definitely possible. When I was lifting seriously, I weighed about 195 at 5'7 (manlet, I know), and my max front squat was around 345-350. I know you have a little further to go in the squat being taller, but I still think it's definitely possible. You've got it!
