How do you cope? Do you lift or drink heavily?
I try my hardest to not care. It takes a lot of will power. I just focus on the things important to me, which right now is improving my body. I dedicate all my attention to it, so as to occupy my mind and keep out any negative feels. Not that they don't get through sometimes, but I try not to dwell on them.
I have gotten a new flat mate and the only issue that has come up this far is that he insists that it is disgusting to tumble dry the gym wear and cloths I use when I go out running.
He is a neck beard and I doubt he has ever set his foot in a gym, so therefor I turn to you guys for a second opinion.
tl dr: Is it weird to tumble dry gym cloths after workout to dry out the sweat?

/fit/ I need to lose weight.
The sticky is a big vague on it and it concentrates on nutrition instead of exercising.
I'm saving for a gym membership and in September I should be able to join but right now I don't have much money to go with. I wanna start at home, I don't have weights, only an old yoga mat.
I weight 75kg
I'm not really fat and my body fat should be around 20-21%.
I do have quite some belly fat.
I eat three meals a day
Coffee and milk with two or three tablespoons of sugar.
Various, usually Pasta with various sauces and red meat with a ton of Salad with just Salt, Oil and Lemon as dressing. Fruits like Oranges, Bananas and sometimes Apples. I also eat them as snacks.
Usually Red Meat with Salad or a Sandwitch.
I drink Sodas occasionally (Not everyday, but there have been moments where I drank a couple of glasses daily) and the occasional Whiskey or Beer when I go out.
I believe I drink something like 2lt of water a day.
Anybody here a climber? Teach me about climbing.

If you want to know about gear, you need to actually be there and do it yourself.
The lighter you are, the easier climbing is.
The one activity where being a gymnastics guru is considered a good thing.
You need to get really good at pull ups.
Grip strength is also essential.
The best way to get good is to climb easy walls, and move to progressively harder ones.

Compared to a real sport, like rowing, or football, boxing, or swimming, they have to do all their sport stuff, AND lifting
Cardio and really high reps are hard as nails compared to lifting, even for a 1 rep max or 3 rep max you do it or you don't, it isn't really PAINFUL like that last push for someone running a marathon or triathlon
The most pathetic are the dorks doing those 3x5 workouts with no isolations,...

Yep lifting is about the most static and boring form of exercise there is. At least with running and biking you can see cool stuff. With lifting you spend so much of your life standing inside an air-conditioned box moving perfectly balanced weights up and down in a straight line.

Okay I'm taking rich pianas 8 hour arms to build my own ridiculous workout. If you're unfamiliar, you do a mini workout every 30 minutes 16 times. The original workout is purely arms, but I'm going to go full upper body. Here's the workouts
4x10 dumbbell bench
4x10 shoulder work (facepulls, rear delt flyes, or lateral raises
4x10 The Press™
4x10 dumbbell rows
>Eat 3550 calories
>Gain around 1lb per week
>Do this for 3 weeks
>Reduce calories by 200
>Only gaining between 0.1 to 0.2 lb per week
