Hey guys, check out this awesome idea for a hairstyle app I thought of:
An app/website that'll let the user see which hairstyle would look appropriate on him/her, by picking from an array of different hairstyles. Using facial recognition technology, the user will be able to realistically put on virtually any hairstyle on his/her head, giving an accurate representation of what the user will look like with the hairstyle - even allowing the user to move his/her head up, down, left, right with the hairstyle intact.
The app will have a variety of social networking...

I've read alot from special pushups to going on a super strict diet. Just want to know more.
Ive been stuck at benching 140 for quite awhile. I stopped this past semester but am giving it another go. I read to do 3 sets of 5 low weight, then 2 at close to your max for muscle mass. Does that actually work?
is it true that most of the star athletes you went to school with were relentlessly trained by their parents since childhood?
i was recently having lunch with our old schools star pointguard and i asked him how he got so good, he basically told me as long as he could remember his father mercilessly practiced shooting with him and pretty much forced him to play.
is this true of most of the good athletes we went to school with or do you get good just playing for 2 hours everyday during practice?
i guess it makes sense i mean, what kid wants to practice doing layups all day instead of playing power rangers or something.
still i wonder if it would be fair to my kid to force him to practice playing basketball all day (even if it would be for his own good)
/cgl/ is making fun of us again.
Alright, bros, I've got a scenario for you. You just finished your daily 10 mile run. You somehow forgot your water so you're really thirsty. A random QT walks up to you and hands you a water bottle. You chug the whole thing down without even thinking about it. You realize immediately after that it tasted strange and had a weird viscosity. "What was in that?" You ask. "It was my pussy juice," she answers. What do you do?
How does your current girlfriend feel about your lifting?
Is she indifferent, does she support it, does she shit on it?
She loves the results but occasionally memes about how I never miss training.
Ultimately, us going out in public and her getting to hold my arm while other girls stare is what she loves
who /filtered-milk/ here
while my lower back region heals I need to replace the following excercises from my routine with new ones that don't heavily stress the lower back
hey /fit/ iv been doing 5x5 for about 2 months now techincly a year but kept missing it up but got my weight up to 100 pounds and my knees seem to keep going over my toes anybody help for this? i wear weight lifting shoes btw i cant really see what people mean by pushing your hips back if i try that i just bend my back
Why are feats of strength held in lower regard than other athletic achievements?
Log-pressing 500lbs (Big Z), deadlifting over 1000lbs (something only three people have done on a standard set-up) and other records are seriously pushing the boundaries of human achievement, and easily as impressive as anything Usain Bolt or Chris Froome does, but it's nowhere near as much in the public eye with the exception of the odd feature on TV.
Is it because non-lifters can't really comprehend how significant the numbers are, whereas anyone can see how significant a sub-10 100m is?
Not all records are held by the bigger lads though, most of the really successful strongmen until the last decade or so have been lean. Pudzian, Jon Pall, Magnus Ver and Jouko Ahola in particular, and that's without mentioning people like Ed Coan
What do you think for 1,5 year ?

I am legit a jellycunt when it comes to Rich Piano. Boning a blonde nordic godess, got a nice house, nice cars, dogs. You name it. How can i be like him?
Hey /fit/, im fat as fuck and cant seem to get the motivation to lose weight. I want to stop being a hamplanet, but i do everything i should for one day then forget. what do?
Im getting to the point where it hurts to stand up sometimes and im genuinely scared.
your motivation should be your reflection in the mirror and how much it disgusts you. You obviously lack the will power to stick with a proper diet and/or workout regime which won't change unless you really want to change. Just fucking do it, you'll see results quick and that will motivate you further.
It's because you have no vision, no goal. You don't feel the call for the greatest quest of all.
You "want to stop being a hamplanet" like you would want to eat some ice-cream: it's just a fleeting desire.
You need to be clear on what you wish to achieve.
I'm new to /fit/, and I was kind of wondering about yoga.
Is it as good as people say, or is it just a meme?
Can a man do it or is it just gay?
Or is it master race?
It's good for mobility and (depending on the type of yoga) your core.
It probably won't make you that much more aesthetic than you already are, but it's great to supplement with lifting because the balance and mobility gains may prevent injury.
It feels godlike when you're finished up with a tough workout and you finally get to just lay there and feel the endorphins from the deep stretching.
