My goal isn't to be ripped or buff. Just to be relatively lean and far from skinny fat, as well as have a lot of stamina/a strong heart. I plan to use only swimming to accomplish this.
First ill be cutting so ill be swimming in a deficit a few times a week. I've been told it's advisable to 'take it easy' as swimming can be incredibly draining so I may just focus on breast stroke.
Eventually I do plan on swimming on a surplus once I reach a low enough body fat.

Shit that drives me nuts about clueless people trying to diet to lose weight:
Switching from diet pop to orange juice.
Switching from chips and candy to trail mix.
Taking the stairs instead of the elevator then using that as justification for eating cake.
Same thing as above but withparking far away and walking to building.

Avoid canned foods when possible
Carefully wash all fruits and vegetables before consumption with hot water
Cows and chickens are fed pesticide and hormone infused grain which they then pass along to you in their milk and eggs--get organic versions of these essential products
Anti-perspirant and deodorant
If it bubbles or smells good, it's probably loaded with testosterone blocking junk.
There are paraben free alternatives to all of these products--you have only yourself to blame!

no, in fact they can produce them AND horrible back problems as when you are walking with a hundred pounds below your waist in hand your Back/spine twists and bends to accomodate the weight
Farmer walks strengthen the traps, which pull your shoulders up. To pull your shoulders back, you want to strengthen your rhomboids and posterior delts, which you can do with pull ups, face pulls, and wide grip bent over rows.
To add to this, I'd say standing dumbbell OHP. Because my shoulders are rounded, I had the initial tendency to want to let my elbows flare back when I did this. Don't let them do that, and keep them in front of your body. You will feel it in your weakened back and shoulder muscles.
