Opinions on Sumo Deadlift?
I'm 6'3" with an ectomophic body type and conventional Deadlifts are extremely hard for me to maintain proper form. I can pull off Sumo Deadlifts no problem because my center of gravity is more in center with the bar and doesn't pull me out of proper form.
Am I losing out on gains sticking to Sumos for now?
Trust me I've been doing conventional Deadlifts for the past 6 months and my form still suffers because of my extremely long torso. At this point I'm convinced it's more of a structural problem then simply being a pussy.
Sumos just work for me and doesn't destroy my lower back like conventionals do.
I might have to accept that conventionals are always going to be my weak spot but we'll see in a few more months when my core gets stronger.

I started taking fat burning pills last week, and lately I've been feeling nausea, dizziness, and insomnia. It's called Dopamite, and the recommended dosage is 2 pills, but I've only been taking 1 to see if I can tolerate it. Should I continue using them to see if the nausea goes away, or should I drop em and just stick to exercise and dieting alone?

I'm just confused with the diet. I've read in the sticky that you need as much gram protein as your weight in lbs, so for me 175lbs = 175g per day. Seems excessive, no? I'm just 5'7.
Also, how do you calculate the proportion of necessary fats, carbs, vegetables, etc? It's not well explained in the sticky.

If you aren't lifting just eat 500cal less than your tdee and ignore everything else diet related.
Do whatever cardio you want but you're not going to lose weight unless you put the fork down.
I started lifting last week.I have decent knowledge of exercises and form, and have done it before so no issue there.
Started at 163.2lbs and 158% bf.
I am now at 163.2lbs (yes that's correct) and 15.4% bf.
This equates to roughly 0.7lbs of fat replaced by muscle.
I consume 2600 calories a day at 6.0ft tall.
Are these good results as far as muscle building goes or should I up my calorie intake ? Sticky sais gaining a pound per week.
I find it easier to eat fats than carbs. Currently I eat 25% calories from fats, how much higher...

How exactly did you measure the 0.4% bf change ? Before you say "electronic body fat monitor", just stop. Unless if you get your body fat measured by a doctor, it's almost impossible to get any form of accuracy out of those pieces of shit. Ditch the monitor and get calipers.
Also, stop expecting results weekly, especially if you're not roiding. You should be estimating your results every two-three months and adjusting your parameters for your diet every week or so
