Any type 1 diabetics try the primal blueprint? I've heard good things from non diabetics. Obviously medication will need adjustments.
Is it possible to gain strength while on a slow cut? If so how?
Yeah. Just cut slowly. I've personally done it.
It won't happen if you're in a rush to cut though.
When I had been lifting for 3 years I did a really slow cut and went from 198 to 173 (5'7") over like 9 months and maintained all of my strenght and even gained some on some lifts like deadlifts, weighted pull-ups etc.
I was cutting at like 2.3-2.5k calories though.
ah , i just maintained, but thats still a strength increase overall if you think about it because i was still squatting and benching the same at 173 that i was at 198. 25lbs less bodyweight with same lifts is still relative increase.
>getting backne for the first time in my life at 21.
I don't understand, wtf is going on?
I dunno about anyone else but the barbell rubbing against my back during squats seems to give me bacne, on the other hand I've barely had a single pimple on my face since I was 15
Skinnyfat here. How do I get better pecs? Will it come naturally with lifting?
I have pecs like pic related. After 1 month of lifting I notice minimal changes mostly in my arms/back.
My gym is limited and I go for 30-40 minutes 3-4 times a week.
I usually do
Fuck man I just want to have flatter pecs. I want to make it.
Have you ever been mired by a member of the same sex /fit/?
How'd you react to it?
Have you ever been caught mirin someone of the same sex?
>At a colleague's birthday drinks
>Talking about working out
>Told him I was mirin his arms at work
>He thought I said I want to marry him
Guy didn't understand mirin and then we got interrupted and I never got to explain.
What do you guys do about your stomach stretch marks?
Shoulder stretch marks are socially ok but stomach stretch marks are disgusting.
I'm thinking about covering them with water proof make-up till I lose some more weight in order to go the beach and not feel insecure as fuck
Do you guys ever wear make-up to cover your stretch marks?
Do you seriously think covering them with make-up would be good?
It would make you look insecure/beta as fuck.
You have them, just keep them, you can go to the beach anyway, it was your fault for being a fatass
>tfw doctor said i can't work out for a week
i was just about to hit 3 plate squat
i don't even know what to do. working out supressed the crippling feeling of loneliness. i feel stressed as shit and can't even fall asleep until 3 am
Any ausbros here that can suggest a good half rack for a home gym that isn't expensive as fuck? I was considering a full rack but I don't want to keep taking the bar out of the rack every time I want to do OHP.
I don't want to cheap out on a half rack since it probably needs to be more well built in comparison to a full rack but I don't want to spend almost double the cost of a full rack after shipping for something like pic related.
Just get squat stands, can get decent ones for $100 AUD and they are sturdy as fuck. No safety tho but just don't drop it faggot.
Or you could get the half rack from Gym Direct, that's what I was gonna do but I found a used full rack with cables for $150 so was cheering. Use gumtree, where are you located?
ausfeg here that's my literal rack
i highly recommend it a+
A PhD in Kinesiology, 8 years work as a personal trainer, 4 years working as a physical therapist.
I have spare time so I decided to help someone who might need help.
If you need help with form, nutrition, mobility and flexibility or picking a routine - this is your thread.
Otherwise healthy, fit young male starts getting middle-back spasms on the job lifting 30-50 pound boxes. Debilitating pain for about an hour, muscle settles down a little but remains tender for days after. Pain from tenderness alleviated largely by keeping shoulders back and upper back tight and engaged when bending and lifting.
Safe to assume that I've just been punished for lazy posture? Anything special to do other than be more disciplined and develop the upper back more?
I'm getting some surgery done tomorrow and I'll be on a strict diet of non solid foods for 6 weeks. Also no working out either. Anyone know of mushy foods that won't get me fat, or exercises I can do to keep some muscle?
I had lower jaw and chin surgery 4 weeks ago
Greek yogurt is good, scrambled eggs, noodles etc
Ilya is now gone.
I currently weigh 108.5 kg (240lbs) i have been losing around 1kg (2.2lbs) a day for 8 days straight now. I try too eat 1200 calories max in 2 meals 1 meal at 1 oclock and 1 meal at 7. I also bike 50km (30miles) at 30kmph (18.5mph) every single day for the last 2 weeks. I am worried that i am dropping weight to soon and that this is somehow doing damage to my body. Because on avarage people tend to lose weight much slower. I am in the state of hunger alot especially at night. What do you guys think about this?

How many Shakes do you drink per day?
Can't fucking see Bananas anymore.
I dont drink "shakes"
I just weigh out 30g of protein powder into a coffee mug and drink it with 125g skim milk. I usually max out at two 30g serves per day and 250g milk, which is total 60g protein (whey is 48g, for 250g of the skim milk i get is 12g protein)
I get another 100-120g from food to max out at 160-180g total protein for the day which is perfect my manlet status.
>he fell for the protememe
Its been proven that anything above 1.8g per kg bodymass doesnt give any benefit, and this amount is easily achievable through diet. Excess protein puts a strain on your kidneys and may lead to compacted dry stool.
>inb4 you gotta eat dem protons bro XD
Numerous studies have tried to determine the optimal amount of protein for muscle gain and many of them have reached different conclusions.
Some studies show that over 0.8 grams per pound has no benefit, while others show that intakes slightly higher than 1 gram of protein per pound is best.
Although it’s hard to give exact figures because of conflicting results in studies, 0.7-1 grams (give or take) per pound of body weight seems to be a reasonable estimate.
i'm trying to get to 70 kilograms, but i'm stuck at 80.
i've been drinking water to keep my metabolism good, doing 30 minutes of cardio everyday, eating under 1500 calories.
but can't lose weight,
anyone knows why?
Dont only look at the scale. Meassure circumfences around belly, love handles, chest, neck.
Mirror can be your friend but it is hard to judge yourself objectively if you see yourself everyday.
Dont go lower in cals or you will lose muscle mass and cosplay jack skellington.
Keep up amigo
