Does holding your poop in help provide more core stability during lifts like squatts and deadlifts?
/Pol/tard here. I've never been on your autistic page before so please bear with me.
I have been skinnyfat for a majority of my life. People always classify me as in between because I'm literally NOT skinny, but I'm definitely NOT fat either. It's a pretty shitty body, as you can well imagine, and i'm sure there are loads of people here who used to be like me.
With the exception of doing a strenuous sport in high school, I haven't worked out in a while and I'm beginning to hate my fat fuck self in the mirror.

What is /fit/'s opinion on these? Recommendations, dosages?
SARMs are my shit senpai. They're like synthetic versions of steroids. They raise test, increase libido, and strength.
The downside is the time it takes to kick in, and isn't as potent as steroids.
The upside is, shitty to moderate drug tests can't catch it, only Olympic grade tests can. Overall it's pretty great, people who do roids take sarms on their off cycle
So is most of /fit/ unemployed?
I'm trying to juggle working semi-full time (about 39 hours a week) and taking some summer courses, and I have verry little time and energy for the gym.

If you have a regular job schedule, like a 9-5 or whatever, the best way to do it is learn to get up early and work out before you go to work. Then after work you can just crack open a beer (or a quart of milk), smash out some work, and then play some video games and get to bed early stress-free.
the hardest part is sleeping properly, in my opinion.
if you don't believe you can be a morning guy (thought I didn't and here I am)
you can put what on your workouts on a saturday/sunday, meaning you only have to clear two more evenings in the week.

Hey, /fit/. What's the best way to build abs and keep a flat stomach?
On top of my martial arts training which is mostly about core muscles
I just do normal sit ups and crushes. But I've read that they can damage your back. So what should I be doing instead?
I was thinking about picking up one these sit up benches.
Do not want anything Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Puma, or anything mainstream "active" brands. Found these, love the style. Hopefully they're suitable for gym shoes? or are they running shoes?
Also, I'm not the white boy bro type, -don't ride motorcross, but I am into mountain biking quite a bit. So I guess it wouldn't make me a complete poser wearing fox racing shoes?

I can rep 145lbs barbell fine but 70lbs dumbbells in each hand is way too much for me. So I usually bench press with 40 or 45# dumbbells instead. Is this normal?
Also, is the barbell all around better? I almost never see anyone use dumbbells, just the barbell bench press.
If you like the barbell more use that, if you like the dumbles more use them. You will lift more with a barbell but that doesn't indicate more strength/mass as such. They'll be some physics exhaling the reason for the side tense in weight you can lift somewhere.

I see older guys who look pretty strong and big yet their jobs dont require any physical activity and they don't work out
How does this work? If I stop training for a month my mass and strength go down immediately

Truck drivers spend hours at a time sitting in on position, so I'm sure onelce their parked for the day they want to let off excess energy, I've read through some trucker forums and I've seen people talking about pushups in the parking lot, running circles around their truck and even keeping a few dumbbells
But the vast majority of truckers are overweight as fuck

Most of their "solid arms" is fat. It's impossible to maintain a good physique when your profession involves doing nothing but sitting and eating fastfood. Trucking is among the most unhealthy professions.
That being said, I know 4 truckers personally. One is an obese sack of lard, two others do as much cardio and cycling as they can during their monthly leave, while the fourth one exercises...
