I've been on SS for about 15 weeks and I've been pretty happy with the results, though my diet/sleep wasn't the best while at uni. A couple weeks ago I finally stopped being a fuck and purchased SS: BBT. Depends on you honestly, do you want to gain strength and muscle fast go for the rip approach or if you want to have some abs and then make painfully slow gains go for lyles approach.
There's a literal skeleton in several of my classes and I watch him down several full calorie normal energy drinks or cokes a day. Those big ones, like 250-350 calories each and he is downing multiple a day.
So he is basically getting nearly 1,000 calories just from the sugary drinks I see him drinking in class. How does this cunt stay so fucking skeleton? is he literally not eating any other calories?
Question to runners here: I usually run with music and currently train (so far successfully) for a marathon coming up in about 2 months. However, rules dictate that during the race you're not allowed to listen to music. Will I be fine if I switch from training with music to training without music in the last few weeks of preparation (or say last month) or is there a fundamental problem with that approach?
As long as you can figure what dependencies you have on listening to music while running and replace them in time. I stopped a while back and love it. Space out and forget the world, focus on breaths, and just relax.
I can't really say how long it takes to switch to either and get used to it. I stopped listening to music while running because I felt like it helped me when I could hear my breathing and also I have the privilege of running in a beautiful forest so without music is nicer anyways.
If I had to run on streets I'd probably listen to music though.

I've been feeling really shitty and unmotivated ever since I stopped drinking. I've found that caffeine helps improve my mood a bit, but the acidity of coffee and most other highly caffeinated beverages really fucks with my stomach and makes me nauseous.
Are caffeine pills a viable alternative? Also, is there a place that sells them over the counter? I've tried CVS and Walmart and couldn't find anything. I can't order them online because I had to empty out my bank account for reasons.

Start doing olympic weightlifting. You will learn how to use your body properly to do tasks, like tackling. Hell, if I had learn that tackling required leg drive, I would've been so much better.
Anyways, search online for what's called a "barbell complex". Do this, along with a beginner's oly lifting program. Also a coach might be necessary.
Why do people say coffee is bad for you?
I want to start slimming down so I'm planning on cutting out all bread and pastas, should I stop coffee? I drink it black.
Cut coffee out, weight loss is sooo much easier hydrated, coffee will wreck that for you. My thing was drinking a pot black at work and desu when i quit cold turkey and replaced it with 12-15 8oz glasses of water i started pissing away the fat, the caffiene just strings you out and makes life easier, give it up and your goals will be easier. im a dumb person and dont care about the why but if you are interested look into cortisol.
