Looking to diversify my portfolio. Give me some of your essential meals/foods. The more specific the better (weight, calories, macros)
>low-calorie wraps (50 cal Spinach/Carb ones)
>frozen vegetables like broccoli, green beans
>strawberries, frozen or fresh (nice low carb high fiber snack)
>frozen grapes (higher calorie content than strawberries but still a decent snack since they're frozen and take longer to eat)
>boneless skinless chicken thighs
Can't tell you how much I go through those wraps. Very useful in making something and throwing it in a wrap and eating it.
Still look like I've never seen the inside of a gym before because lank let.

What's /fit/'s resting heart rate? Am I going to die for having such a low rhr?
If your heart beats less than 60 times a minute, it is slower than normal. A slow heart rate can be normal and healthy. Or it could be a sign of a problem with the heart's electrical system . For some people, a slow heart rate does not cause any problems.
If you don't do a lot of cardio you should probably get it checked out.

no but this bitch hangs around my house and won't leave. she cleans the house and washes the dishes (both things i love to do, she's stealing them out from under me) and every couple days she tries to have sex with me. it's getting real annoying.
I have noticed that there are 2 types of fat people out there
the classic beer gut type which usually has chest hair and some degree of manliness although unhealthy
and now I have noticed a new growing trend of young men having a weird alien-looking pear shaped flab body and it looks disgusting. It makes me physically sick. And I figured what is wrong with fat people now and why they look so disgusting and cottage-cheese like. It's because they consume dairy products, which are not only extremely harmful to your health, they also pump a shitload of estrogen into your body
Trying to be able to run a half marathon by this fall and ran into an interview were a retired runner came up with this training plan:
You run at a pace that keeps your BPM at 180-your age. So 157 for me. Apparently this is supposed to train your body to use Fat as a fuel source instead of Glucose.
Is there any kind of merit behind this? Or is this just some bro-science shit?
fat is an excellent energy source, whereas sugars aren't as good. fructose is better than glucose IMO, but fat tops the charts. when you do based cardio, and you burn fat, your energy levels stay a lot more consistent than through other methods. this is legit stuff.
