fucking chest press. what do i do when i do 12 reps the first set, wait a minute, do only 8 the second, wait another minute, and barely eek out 5 reps? Is this natural? Shouldn't I be able to do my 8-12 if I did 12 the first set? I really don't want to lower the weight for my second and third set. What should I do?
Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

Actually shorter people have better leverages for lifting. Shorter people can also recover from slightly more work, because strictly speaking they don't move the weight as far (which means that they're actually doing less volume even if it's the same on paper).
The downside is that you do have less total muscle than a taller person (all other things being equal).
Depending on how much muscle you can manage to build, you can absolute be able to lift really heavy shit. A 75 kg lean manlet...

I'm 24 and haven't exercised for 5 years, is it too late to get fit? My muscles are all flabby and my bones are stiff and badly aligned due to sitting around for so long.
I mean I won't be fit like a 17 year old who is always at the gym.

My question is: is it worth taking whey protein if all I do are bodyweight excersises and running. I do both daily and I'm increasing reps constanly. I did get a good offer on some protein and I drink around 30g after each workout but just curious if it helps at all.
