I cut my finger by accident, pretty sure i cut some nerves there since i can't move or sense pain there. My question is Will i stoll be able to lift with a missing index finger? I stitched the wound myself at home tho (using first aid shit)
Nope was working in my dad's butcher shop, Where i was trying to "slaughter" a chicken then the fucking knife slipped through its head
Would'nt the doctor just do the same shit that i did then make me pay for it?
Worth? I didn't see anything good on craigslist.
For a dyel beginner? I can buy a better bar later, right?
Do you guys ever have weird fit related dreams? I had one the other night
>In the gym waiting for a squat rack
>This chick leaves for like 5 minutes
>Deload her shit and start warming up
>She comes back
>Suggests I work in with her
>Shows me this weird smith machine underwater squat, supposed to help with bigger weights
>inb4 underwater weight test

You're probably scared of women or something on a deep subconscious level.
I'd always have these dreams where I'm trying to fight someone off but my punches don't do anything. I've always had these same dreams since I was a kid, but lately, since I started lifting, they started reacting slightly to my punches. Maybe one day I can finally knock them out.
not fit related but:
i had one the other night where i was a murderer
I had one few nights ago where i was stuck on a sinking ship and had to get to the surface. there was also some squid bounty hunter chasing me and promising to kill me once we go tot the surface.
I've never had dreams where I'm "afraid" of women, and I'm not afraid of them in like the normal 4chan sperg lord sense. I do feel trapped in my current relationship though, maybe that has something to do with it
What are the pros and cons of the paleo diet?
No processed shit which is almost entirely to blame for bad diets.
Not eating grains, beans, and dairy for no good reason at all.
Just don't eat processed foods. Paleo should just be a meme.
I'm /fat/ (not morbidly obese or anything but that's not the issue) and today I decided that I'm not interested in dying young of a heart attack. I've eaten so much fast food in my life it's probably shocking. I'd say I eat fast food at least 3 times a week.
1. Fruits and vegetables always taste like flavorless mush to me, how do I make them taste good like everyone claims they taste?
2. I've seen conflicting advice on meats. Some say that meats increase your cholesterol and build up plaque in the arteries, some say that eggs are the worst possible food to eat, others say that meat and eggs are great for you. I was planning on cooking mostly eggs, chicken, and steak as my main dishes, is this good for my heart?
3. Will a good diet and exercise make my heart healthier? Would it get rid of plaque?
By the way, I'm already on high blood pressure pills.
1. Your tasting is busted, give it a month or so and vegetables will start to taste good. Carrots are borderline candies to me now. Otherwise you can steam them then add butter / slat. Or fry them. Baking them then adding lemon juice is good too.
2. Cholesterol from food is a meme. Your cholesterol is regulated by your body and cholesterol from food does not affect it.
4. Rid of it? Hard to say. Make it better and more importantly, not adding even more plaque? Yes
Read the fucking sticky it is there for a fucking reason.
>when did you start to lift
>why do you lift
>so i can strike jojo poses without feeling fat
When will crossfit get the respect it deserves?
I think we're slowly reaching the point it truly deserves.
Is it that bad to "curl" on the smith machine to get technique perfected if u are new?
Heard this on the radio today. Little trivia question, How much can Obama bench press? I guessed 185lbs. Didn't specify whether his max ever, or max recently, but I assume a recent max rep.
One guy that called was 10lbs and got tickets to monster trucks or somethng
>things like this are fun when you're old.
I don't want to spoil it, a quick google tells you the weight #
What exercises are there to increase jaw definition?
I'm currently cutting so maybe I'll get more definition as I drop in weight.
Let's have a discussion about the different styles of lifting and the bodies that they typically produce. Post pictures and information about how powerlifting, bodybuilding, Olympic lifting, strongman, and other weight lifting focuses can produce different body types. Google's not giving me anything :((((
Definitely a bodybuilding physique.
This dude followed a hybrid of bodybuilding and powerlifting. Looks much thicker and joocier imo
Is there literally any point in lifting if you can't get your bodyfat below 15%?
Disclaimer: By "cant" i mean that you just don't have the will-power to stay at a caloric deficit consistently to get a low bodyfat, not some magical muh genetics meme.
Because I am one of those people. I just can't fucking do it brahs. I've been lifting for 4 fucking years and I still struggle getting under 20% bodyfat.
I'm only asking this because i've realized after 4 years no matter how good I perform in the gym, no matter how strong I get, no matter how much volume I do. No matter what style of training or routine I do.....if I don't eat a calorie deficit I just will never lose the fucking fat.
It's fucking demoralizing desu.
Lifting makes me hungry all the time as well. I actually feel like I was leaner before I began lifting 4 years ago.
Depends on your goals. You can look pretty good at 15% if you have enough muscle and the correct proportions. I'm guessing you're a lot fatter if you "struggle" to get under 20%, that shit is easy as fuck.
Pic related is the leanest I've ever been.
That was after 3 whole years lifting.
I just don't have the genetics for getting amazing results from lifting. Maybe you're the same?
Most of us have shit genetics anyway, there's a reason why people like zyzz stick out. If everyone could obtain zyzz like body then zyzz wouldn't even be special.
>Yawning in between sets
Why is this looked down on?
Is it just a M E M E?
Is it a bad thing?
Answer me please.
>that guy who wears basketball shorts to the gym
Does going vegan make you ugly as shit? VG and Freelee's boyfriend are some of the ugliest people I have ever seen
>meat eaters on suicide watch
Are you supposed to "swing" back and forth with the movement or keep your core nice and tight only rowing with your arms?
Info online is contradictory
