I have been lifting for a little while (yes I read the sticky, Chad) and I have been interested in learning more about meal prep. My understanding was that you are supposed to prepare / cook a week's worth of food at once, such as Sunday evening, so that throughout the week you only have to reheat food. My dad said that this was a ridiculous idea and that the food would all be bad or stale by the end of the week. Am I misunderstanding meal prep or is my dad a DYEL-tier beta?
My general idea was:
7x
Breakfast
Protein A
Vegetable A
Carb A
7x
Lunch
Protein B
Vegetable B
Carb B
7x
Supper
Protein C
Vegetable C
Carb C
Cook all Sunday evening and put into the fridge.
I prep it every two days.
The only kind of food you should eat generally is fresh food.

Rice
One piece of fruit
One protien bar / trail mix
One piece of gum
Green tea / coffee / monster / gluten free beer / vodka / other teas
It doesn't matter what it tastes like (If it does season the shit out of it). It is what is in it.

Today, I went to do a chinup (after warming up my neck for around 10 minutes), and when I was at the apex of the movement I felt a hard dull pain in the circled area. It was so intense I felt like I was going to black out.
Now, 2hrs later, the pain is much less but still hurts. It is a dull, throbbing pain. My neck mobility is not reduced at all and moving does not aggrevate it.
It is not a spinal pain, its symmetrical across two points on the back of my skull.
What did I do?

Who here's into calisthenics?
I've got a question if anyone is interested in answering. I'd like to work on my inverted rows to keep my workout balanced, but unfortunately I have no access to anything that could be used properly for this purpose.
I was thinking about getting a dip station like pic related, but I'd also like to work up to rings in the future. I already have a pull up bar.
So I guess at some point I'd like something to do dips and inverted rows with, as well as some pull-up assistance bands so I can build up my pull-up...

I just use cheap gymnastics rings I got from Amazon (40 beaver bucks) to do inverted rows, just hang them from the pullup bar.
You could do dips on them too, but it's a lot harder than dips on a solid frame. So in my case I use the corner of my deck for dips.

They're curls + more, meaning they're better than curls.
