Try them. I used to have them about a year ago when we had a hot summer and kept having them into winter. It felt much better getting out of a cold shower than a hot one after a run. It also helped my acne, I think.
I stopped having them because I like having hot water to shave, and it's much easier to clean yourself with. It's been a long time since I've had a long shower where I let my thoughts flow down the drain with the water.

I'm 5'9" 125, go to the gym 3 times a weak plus at least one hockey game a week outside of the gym, been going for 3 months. I just squatted 135 for the first time a week ago and that feels like an accomplishment. How long did it take for you formerly skinny fuckers to get to a decent weight/body? What helped you improve the most (ie. types of workout/diet stuff)?

Alcoholic thread. Trying to quit drinking, but I can't get an appetite or hold food down unless I'm drinking first. On day 2 of no alcohol and no food. Spent the last day puking all day. Now I'm light headed and weak and shakey, but still no appetite. Suggestions?
