>all the weight in the world won't make up for the fact you're alone
Take your self-defeatism back to /r9k/.
Big bowls of cereals.
Food is almost purely mental satisfaction for me, but the physical sensations last for almost no time at all
Like 5 mins after I ate I've already forgotten the experience of the food on my taste buds; I've jacked off for a longer period than any meal lasted
/fit/ what the fuck is wrong with me? I shit loose shits but my bowels constantly feel full, and I am very bloated. I shat twice today, but still feel constipated. I feel like I have to take a huge massive shit and fart and it will all be ok, but I can't, I only shit itty bitty wet mushes. What should I do? More fibre? Less fibre?
Pic related, how I feel right now.
Who else here going to work out soon?
>tfw going gym in about 45 minutes
>tfw rest day
Usually i like rest days but right now im kinda bummed
Just got back, had an interesting conversation with a dude
He said that if you use an olympic bar it's only used as balance and you are only actually lifting more than 20 kg if the weight you put on is more than 20 kg
If you add 5 kg on each side the bar cancels it out and you're still lifting the weight of an empty olympic bar.
How would you estimate my current bf%
How do you think I could get to 10%
>get to gym bright and early today
>see a guy with a "vegan and proud <3" wristband
>he's DEADLIFTING in the SMITH MACHINE
>give him a few pointers and tell him why it's not good to do that exercise in that machine
>"I'm sorry, do you work here? My name's ____"
"No I don't work here, I'm just helping you out though man, I don't wanna see someone get hurt"
>"Hurt? You were eating a salad with chicken in it out there, you're hurting animals. Don't throw stones in glass houses"
>"Seriously man, that's irrelevant. I'm just giving you a tip."
>"How about you focus on not getting cancer from that 'meal' and get out of my face cunt"
Fast forward twenty-five minutes
>doing hammer curls
>see him walk to tables/bag area (the gym I go to has a little bag rack and table area when you walk in for storage)
>he pulls out a shaker cup
>Immediately drop dumbbells
>Powerwalk (lol cardio) up to him
>"You're vegan right? I've reconsidered my diet."
>Watching him add two scoops to his cup
>"Really? That's great to hear bro, want some tips?"
>"Yeah! Sure! You give me one and I'll give you one! Fair?"
>"Of course man, well my main tip is buy a lot of spinach and white cabbage, very good for you if you can't afford kale."
>"Oh yeah? That sounds great. My tip to you is, get some protein powder that isn't made from animal products."
>HE JUST STARES BLANKLY AT THE INGREDIENTS
>He shakes his head in disbelief, tells me to fuck off, and leaves.
Welp, you gotta start somewhere.
Bought this today since you guys said "lift something"
Gotta start somewhere right babe?
Better than nothing OP. Start doing calisthenics and use the dumbells to add weight when you can. You should buy a backpack and throw weights in there for weighted pushups and shit too, maybe even a pullups bar.
Hi fa.m, please advise.
I've been in snap city for 5 months now due to injured right wrist. Been too much of a curlbro.
So I quit working out because of injury, but it has taken 5 months to heal now.
I went to see my local doctor and he told me it was a ganglion in right wrist, although I never thought it looked like it had swelled up.
He told me it should take 2-3 months before I'm ready to return to gym, but now after 5 months, it still isn't perfect.
It still hurts a bit when I grab heavy stuff, at certain angles.
Should I return today?...

You can try wrapping your wrist to provide support. However, if you do have a ganglion cyst pressing will agitate it - at least it does in my case. They do come and go, so with time you should be alright.
Wrists and ankle injuries always take forever to heal and will still hurt for like 2 years afterwards. I'd say just tough it out and do whatever you feel like if its already been 5 months.
You probably should have done some physical therapy for it when it happened.
i'm scared to go to a gym, i'm uncoordinated and skinny and i've never been in one before and everyone will stare at me and i'll have to talk to people and people will bully me and cut in line for machines and i'll have to wait in line for machines and spaghetti will fly everywhere
I can safely bench 80kg for 8 reps would it be unsafe to try 100kg today? I will be alone

I work at a hospital and thinks it's hilarious that these obese, unhealthy nurses/doctors can even start to tell people about their health.
