Holy shit that feel
omar mateen did nothing wrong.
How do you determine whether a person has biceps or if a person is just fat?
I see stuff like pic related a lot where the part at the elbow is pretty thin and the higher you go, the more you see a bulge indicating a biceps. It's like a little curve and pretty hard to explain. (please see the curve I drew onto it)
I see this quite often on non-fat persons but on the other hand, the difference between the perimeter of the elbow and the "difference" to the biceps area isn't that big and I have no idea how to tell now.
>>37665851
>*isn't that big on bodybuilder's arms
>>37665851
What the fuck is the question? All these details are retarded as fuck. Are you asking how to tell between fatceps and biceps?

He is asking /fit/ how he can measure his masculinity with other men without engaging in a strictly no-homo homosexual sex orgy.

Megadeth,muse and some amy winhouse.
hey /fit/ i read everywhere that its easier to rebuild msucle you once had, so wouldnt it be beneficial to "roid up" for a short time, stop juicing and build the muscle back up easier?
>>37665286
roids make anything bodybuilding/strength/endurance related easier, even if your a complete beginner.
>>37665296
duh, that was not the question
>>37665286
I think what you are asking is, is there a benifet to doing a short cycle of roids if you don't plan on staying on them long term or cycling them consistently?
I don't know.

I saw this one randomly on jewtube and tried it out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y1r9toPQNkM
The first time I tried it, I had pains in places that I didnt know about before. So it probably works. The exercises are not that popular though.
Before that I used a generic workout routine that I got from a sportschool, it was mediocre, so...
Is there such a thing as work strength versus gym strength?
I'm easily the strongest out of my friends and have the best endurance. Like, there's not even a debate, YET at the gym, I'm among the weakest of us, with some of the weakest stats.
How the fuck do I explain that? Can it simply be psychological? I have an arm injury that prevents me from pushing at a certain angle (no problem with barbels, pushups, etc though) so maybe psychologically I think my pushing is weaker?
I think there's a damn good reason why my deadlift is strongest in my group,...

I have the opposite experience, smaller guys at work will move things faster because they have pretty much no regard for form. I'll set myself and slowly lift whereas they'll lift with their backs etc
>>37665160
It's just a matter of repetition. People who do manual labor for a living get used to those movements and become more efficient at them. If you get a gym rat to do that shit for a few months he'll get much better at it. It's not really about strength, it's about technique.
t. done construction work and go to the gym a lot.
P.S. that bitch is revolting.
Specificity.
If you have a good bench then you are good at benching.
If you have a good squat then you are good at squatting.
"Strength" is a very nebulous term.
Assuming I cut 1500 calories a day and lift, how long would it take for a 5'9" 215 lb man to get to this mode? I have around 25 percent body fat.
Also, motivation pics thread if you don't give a shit about my question.
bump
i have moreless the same numbers
You need to build some muscle first.
>>37665147
wait, 1500 calories a day? you mean wou will eat 1500 calories per day or will you take off 1500 of your daily consume?
I need your help brotosauras flexes. I'm on a calorie deficit of about 1500 calories a day. I usually hit about 1400 but I've been thinking recently that I'm gonna cut that in half too and just go for about 800 calories a day. My current weight is at 295 and my starting weight is at 300. I can run about a mile or so before lungs feel like they are about to collapse. So I need you knee grows help designing a lifting program of sorts. I can post body pics if wanted, I just need people who has experience in this field of expertise and actually has a passion for it....

READ THE FUKEN STICKY WITH THE Adorable DINO ON IT.
Come on guys, I know somebody's out there that can show me in the right direction
800 cal a day is probably too hard a cut. Even 1500 is going to be considered unhealthy since it's more than 1000 cal under TDEE.
I'm glad that you are trying but it's best to take things slow.
>1st set: all 5 reps
>2nd set: all 5 reps
>3rd set: 0 reps
Decrease weight
>1st set: all 5 reps and feeling good
>2nd set: all 5 reps and shaky on the last 2
>3rd set: shaky from the 3rd rep and sometimes can't do the last one

Is it okay to work out during doms?
Yes. If you didn't work out during DOMS you'd just stop working out after your first few sessions.
In my experience the best way to deal with DOMS is to work out, actually.
>>37664774
yes
it also feels great to work out with doms
I'd like some more answers please.

How do I force myself to fall asleep earlier?
I usually go to sleep at 22 and have to wake up at 5, which gives me roughly 6 and a half hours of sleep. It's not enough and I feel it's affecting my gains, but I just can't force myself to sleep, I always end up laying in bed awake. How do you guys manage to get enough sleep?
I'm trying to find ways to wake up.... From this sleep bro...
