I'm going to do it /fit/. I'm going to the gym for my first time today. I've been working on my basic resistance workouts at home for the last few months and I've got my diet in line. I'm nervous as hell what did you guys do to get over prelift jitters? And what did you wish you knew when you first started lifting?
I just binged on fast food(BK) and now I feel like shit (emotionally, physically I feel good). How have you guys beaten fast food addiction? I know it's bad for me but sometimes I feel like I'll die without eating it. And then one day I snap and binge.
By doing what you just did a few times, and deciding to not ever let it happen again.
Now i rarely get fast food, and only certain items i know will fit my macros for that day, and i usually only do it on a training day, as that is the only time a massive dose of sodium is actually somewhat useful (why is all fast food like 2 grams of sodium per meal?)

Goal-lbs-of-fat-muscle x 0.82 grams = Daily protein goal in grams.
Fat = enough for cells and hormones to function well.
Carbs = whatever else
In other words, every day I shoot for protein goal, at least something fatty, and I don't care about the rest (though eating healthy otherwise is pretty awesome).
